Physical notes today, and not as much as I would like to have written out but i've got things to do. Some comparing and contrasting north and northnorth, especially in the rabbit hole. I wanna write out more thoughts on these and more words I'd like to try out! tomorrow or tuesday for that. as well as some light north wasting (I'm not a waste but i believe in their beliefs). Oh, this is my north thread for now!
I'll compare rabbit holes more later, I wanna poke at North more. You think there's a game here somewhere?

I'm a terrible void player and I'm going to talk about myself (classpects outside of the confines of sburb are less immutable and more open to interpretation and I've definitely considered various classpects but I've identified with "sylph of void" since I was a kid first enamored with sburb conceptually)
anyway! in my junior year of high school I wrote a long rambling paper about intertextualism as a theory. very few specifics but I referenced the odyssey a few times. I wrote this paper out of a Need To Write It. This was for a class called American Realism so the intertextual rant with no mention of works considered american realism didn't really fit the prompt even a little bit, and I was fully prepared to write another paper, but I passed because of passion and artistic merit or something.
I also did this in college, in a sociology 101 class. I ignored the final essay prompt and wrote a well researched paper filled with language more casual than academic about how sociological objectivity is an unachievable bullshit concept. I got an A in the class.

Maybe two years ago? Right around the start of the pandemic, I stumbled into a WEIRD part of the internet. Lots of dead forums and ancient FAQs and a mostly abandoned discord server about a game that MAYBE doesn't exist? Full of contradictory claims about things this game had, and REALLY anachronistic ones too (come on I'm not gonna believe rpg elements were in a game that was a CONTEMPORARY of PONG) Lots of infighting among fans about whether a copy that surfaces is "real" or not, or if its corrupted in some way by fans adding their own content in, or taking liberties with translation, that sort of thing. APPARENTLY its a meme in the fandom for things to just suddenly vanish on you ,because next thing I know me and a few fans I managed to get in contact with were scrambling to collect as much as we could as forums and discords servers just up and left. '

POINT is I don't care if there even IS a "real" version of zampanio, the fan works of it have had *immaculate* vibes and it really got me outta a creative slump. One I really liked WAS here but apparently it got vanished because that is just how this fandom *works* and i'd call it infuriating if it wasn't feeding me.
