People around Aria say that she was born in pointe shoes. From the age of 3 she started dancing in the most elite ballet school in Pennsylvania to achieve her mother’s broken dreams of becoming a prima ballerina. Aria’s talent was inevitable. She worked hard, took her diet seriously and did everything to make her mother proud. And it’s not like she didn’t enjoy dancing – she truly did, but the pressure of being perfect really took a toll on her. Due to the unbearable pain of training and traumas Aria turned to painkillers and quickly became addicted. The day she turned 18 she decided to apply to the most prestigious ballet company in the world – The Paris Opera Ballet, yet to everyone’s surprise she didn’t get in. This denial really beat her down, especially seeing the disappointment in her mother’s eyes. After years of more training and auditions she finally got accepted into The Joffrey Ballet Company located right here in Chicago. After signing the contract, she moved right away, with hopes of actually making it big in the ballet world.

To hear that his dad missed him made him scoff and roll his eyes. The male had a hard time believing it, as his father rarely ever tried to reach out to him. When he did answer, all he received from the other end of the line was a lecture about him wasting his degree and life away at the bar. Mr. Beckett was never supportive of his decisions. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m only treating you guys with the same amount of respect you’ve given me.” Seeing Aria and hearing about his family back home was enough to ruin his mood for the day. “I think I’ll pass on that one, thanks.”

in reality, Aria didn’t  have the best relationship with their parents. they constantly treated her like a baby, like she was helpless. so that made her think that Hudson saw her as spoiled and bratty. though she just wanted to stay on her parents good side especially since she started using drugs, so she thought it would be smart to constantly stay on their good side.

“i didn’t receive much respect either. from anyone” she stops and sighs “the world doesn’t revolve around you”
