If she was going to get hung up on that, she was gonna have a plate load of trouble when she gets to bigger problems. “Because you’ll walk slow and I already know the place well enough, I don’t feel like staring at it and admiring the fading wall color.”

“Maybe, but he’s also the leader so I try not to think about his various shortcomings.” Not everyone had powerful or massively destructive powers. Their mutations wasn’t something they got to decide on. Arguing over which powers were better was stupid and a waste of time to him, but he would always maintain that he’d gotten a good one. “Yeah, you were.” He replied, shoving his hands into his pockets. “You’re not the only one. But you’re new around here, so you get a pass this time.”
