I haven’t posted anything of substance on this account in so long, and I miss everyone I used to interact with on here. I can’t even believe it was One Direction’s 10 Year Anniversary on the 23rd. Time flies so fucking fast. If the boys have taught me anything, it’s how much I appreciate my years in the fandom (and the ones to come) and how incredible the friends I’ve made along the way, and you, have all been.

I used to write those imagines, prefs, and fics, and coming on here after a long day was my solace. So many of you loved them and my account grew exponentially which made me feel so loved. But, I stopped because I was struggling with depression, ptsd, and anxiety. I lost a huge part of myself as I got older. Now I’m getting better, and getting to know myself again. I missed her. 

I know a lot of us have grown out of those days of One Direction, but something feels different now. I feel something big is coming, not just in the boys’ solo careers, but in One Direction as a whole. Change is coming. 

A lot of people that were here in the fandom in the earlier years (like, 2010-2013) have gone and come back; some have left for good, and some continue to stay. I like to think of myself as the latter. I have never left, but stayed quiet and behind the scenes, and I am happy to be here again. 

I want to get back into writing stories about the boys (or anything, really!) for you or even just interacting with you guys because of how great it was years ago. I know many of you won’t even read this, but thank you for turning all of my hardest and most difficult years into some of the greatest.
