1. it's shown that they glow, or, at least aren't affected by light & shadows in the same way another person's would.

these are (really low quality) screenshots from the space station quest just before you debate with him, despite his face being both directly in light and covered by shadow his eyes don't change.

also, if you notice, it's specifically the yellow ring around his pupil that glows and not the red part, leading me to believe this wasn't just a lighting issue in animation.

2. his pupils constrict inward like a slit instead of a smaller circle.

as shown in the hoyofair baseball video, during the closeup under his alabaster his pupils are lines instead of circles (which, shouldn't make sense either since his alabaster should block out light and his pupils should be wide but whatever his alabaster is already so inconsistent)

so his pupils, when constricted, function more like a cats would than a regular persons.

Also, I have a theory that could explain why the alabaster headgear actually let light go through: it's a hologram. Like, a really opaque hologram.

He would sculpt the real head, and then 3D scan it to make the hologram. Which would explain both the presence of real sculptures (like the multiple heads, but also the full sculptures).

Second theory is that it's a see-through material. It's not really something that can isolates him from outside. It's just psychological. He can and obviously is able to see and hear things through it. So, light passing through would also be explained. Like a kind of rubber mask or other flexible, see-through material.

Both theories can work, because obviously one wouldn't be able to wear real stone on their head, or make it move so flexibly.

Big summary of the video is that the doctor in the video realize that in the medical field it is very corrupted and it system promotes treatments that is not needed and withheld information from patients that could help them heal and in the end make people come back to the hospital to get more treatment which make them spend more money.

It’s exactly like the IPC, and I imagine Ratio being a medical doctor, trying to help his patients and giving them all the information that he can (in his own harsh caring way of course) and seeing the patient’s health being jeopardize under the IPC because they want more wealth or other doctor that doesn’t care as much as him giving the patients unnecessary treatment, and everytime he see his patient again and they becomes weaker and weaker every visit and someone them don’t survive. Just imagine how he feels being powerless in that situation, the gut wrenching feeling, the guilt. It’s kinda devastating for him being in the medical field as how much he cares for people

Ratio, as a doctor under oath that swears to relieve his patients pain is in a system that is causing his patient more pain. I think the crueler fact is that he doesn’t want to quit either because he deeply care people so unconditionally.
