I never used to get the phrase “our God is a jealous God” until I started to delve deeper into the bible. God wants us to be his, as we are his and we belong to him. He continually blesses us everyday, and the least he requires of us is faith and time. Throughout our life, God tries to separate us from other things that we may try to put our trust in such as people e.g. friends and family. We feel at times that this is hard to do, because it feels like crossing a road blindfolded. But we have to remember that with God there is “safety net”; his everlasting arms that we can fall into so we need not be afraid. Nothing can and will ever separate us from God, He is and will always be with us. We need to learn to trust in God more.
