They did this on purpose 😭 The twinning outfit, and their Agatha All Along and VisionQuest hats.
My Maximoff twins 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Here’s the thing: Trinity Santos knows the difference between bruises and hickeys.
As a medical intern, she's trained in identifying bruises, and as a single lesbian living in the 21st century, she has given her fair share of hickeys (and received them). So, she can safely call herself an expert in this area.
She also knows her roommate. Or, she would like to believe she knows her roommate. After living together for a few weeks now, she has gotten to know Huckleberry. Which is why it caused such a big impact on her when she saw it on his neck.
She knows that Whitaker is not the type of guy who would have a hickey on his neck. He’s too nervous and fidgety to just casually hook up with someone. Not to mention the fact that they usually go home together and too tired to go out after a long shift. It would be difficult for Whitaker to find time for flings.
And yet, he has one on his neck.
She only saw it briefly when he got blood all over his scrubs, and he had to change in the locker room.
“He has a hickey.” She blurted at no one in particular in the break room.
“Who?” Javadi asked, looking up from her food.
"Huckeberry.”
"Right,” Javadi laughs loudly as she goes back to eating her lunch.
“No, really.” Santos insisted as she sat next to Javadi. “I saw one when he was changing his scrubs.”
"It’s Whitaker,” Javadi said over a mouthful of salad. “It could be a bruise. You know how clumsy he could be.”
Santos knows how clumsy her roommate could be, having seen him fall and spill various liquids on himself. But, she knows it's a hickey. So, she spent the rest of her lunch break claiming and insisting that it was a hickey to Javadi, who spent the whole time tuning her out.
She knows she's right. She just needs to figure out who gave Whitaker the hickey.
I can't shake the feeling that it's already too late for me. Like whatever chance I had is long gone, and I'm just here, stuck, watching life pass me by.
they should make a version of socializing that doesn’t make you feel like you’re still the weird 12 year old kid that doesn’t know why she’s not normal like the other kids

If I had a nickel for everytime a Maximoff twin played lovers (kinda) outside the MCU, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice.
the chemistry 🔥
listen to me: you DO NOT always need to give it your 100%. you really do not. because let’s be honest, you’re human and you’re simply not always going to be able to. there are days when you can only give it your 80%. or your 50%, or heck, even your 10%. and THAT IS OKAY. only skimming one paragraph, only solving one equation, only memorizing 5 words is better than not doing anything because you have this idea in your head that things are only worth doing when you can give what you consider to be your 100%. 10% is better than 0% and some days that is all you can give. it will still add up, and you will still succeed, i promise.
not to be dramatic but sometimes i feel like i don't belong anywhere on this earth like maybe all there is for me is perpetual loneliness + constant desire to go back to a place that doesn’t exist anymore

kind of weird how parts of your soul are left in various locations without any warning… like yes i’m always at the top of that hill, sitting at the bus stop, in the cool light of the Japanese restaurant, standing at the pier etc etc
i can’t believe we’re all young professionals and academics and we’re still logging on to tumblr.com every single day to clown on ourselves. who let this happen

the feminine urge to stay gone. be unseen, be unavailable, be unheard of. disappear.
i don’t think people understand how much of life is grief. not just people dying, but losing the version of yourself you thought you’d become. grieving the city you had to leave. the friends you lost not in argument, but in silence. the summer that will never come back. the feeling that maybe you peaked at 12 when you were reading books under the covers and believing in forever
