genshin!rae: she's supposed to be my self-insert so her lore isn't really tragic, she just hated the stuffy traditions/roles enforced onto her by her parents/community in liyue. instead of standing her ground and rebelling there like one of her friends xinyan, she just ran away pretty much; she's spent time in sumeru, fontaine, maybe mondstadt, and finally ended up settling down in natlan, where she calls the masters of the night-wind (mostly ororon and citlali) her new family, and the graffiti alliance is considered her main faction. she also gets herself mixed up with the fatui a bit- capitano, cassidy ( @xrrorig's oc ), and lyney. the details are unclear, but they know each other (aside from capitano, who rae only met after he took a permanent seat). rae considers herself to be friends with the traveler, mavuika, mualani, chasca, kachina, nilou, xilonen, xiao (kind of), kinich, ifa, and others from natlan. she doesn't get along with yanfei (they're exes) or varesa, though.
