Heâs a cis guy. Heâs a trans guy. Heâs nonbinary from one direction and another. Heâs agender. Heâs genderfluid. Heâs GNC. He says he doesnât really care what people call him. He cares so much about what people call him. Heâs your gender, you, person speaking to him on the street. Heâs your gender, you, person listening to his podcast. Heâs several of these things. Heâs none of these things. Heâs not human so does he even have a gender? Is that a gender in itself?

Okay I know youâre joking and have excellent gender takes yourself but Iâm gonna use this to be Genuine About Gender on sideblog and say like. I did include that one for a reason? Idk it feels weird to not acknowledge that A) people who consider themselves cis can still have funky relationships with gender B) Even if he wasnât I think itâs important to see rep for cis men, of course of bi characters but especially for ace ones just because Society Be Hypersexualising Yâknow? Also as Sahar themselves has pointed out in the past POC are gonna have a very different gender experience from white people and since Jon is commonly read as south Asian, thatâs important too
