82 is better than never! Billy Dee Williams is Gender fluid!
Post with 1 views.
Oh good, he went back to eating so I can share this disaster with you.
More facts about my beautiful bastard boy:
He loves outside. He used to love riding in the car but I didnât take him out for awhile and then he decided he isnât sure about it anymore. He wants to chase cars, but luckily is very good on a harness and has never even attempted to get out of it.
He was probably born deaf, according to the vet. He also seems to have some other cognitive? issues- heâs a very unique boyo, and itâs led to some interesting challenges but heâs just so damn endearing... which is good because I hear him (literally) flinging kibble around the living room as I type this.
As opposed to cats that go deaf and then meow very loudly- he never got to hear himself and so most of his meows are silent. Unless he has a little kitty panic attack because he canât find the humans, or is really pissed because heâs not getting his way, and then heâs the loudest thing Iâve ever heard. Likewise, he hisses at everything that even mildly annoys him. New human? Hisses. Wants to go play but is getting snuggles? Hisses. His hisses are really wet sounding because he canât hear them and thinks itâs probably the right sound.
Speaking of snuggles- he is the snuggliest boy ever invented. He loves snuggles. Even if heâs mad and wants to go play, he still purrs and purrs about the snuggles while hissing. If he gets hungry at 3am, he tries to aggressively snuggle and lick and purrs so hard he squeaks in order to âearnâ his food. This is not as sweet as it sounds and Iâve had many interrupted nights...
Oh my god, I left tumblr so none of you ever got to meet my deaf son, Vent.
He crawled out of an air vent above our refrigerator in May. Heâs almost 9 months old now, LORGE, and wearing too small jam jams because I lost them a few months ago and now heâs out grown them butâ look how dang cute he is in them

I havenât been on here since the n s f w ban but I was working on a new background for my phone and thought of @theanimusbell so I had to come post this
Iâm pissed bc I just found out that topless photos of trans men I have reblogged have been flagged.
One guy has been on T for some time, has hair on his chest, but I guess because he hasnât had top surgery, the bot assumed it was âfemale nipplesâ?
Iâm so pissed. tumblr staff if a fucking joke. The âfemale-presenting nipplesâ this is bad enough, but this just proves they need to fucking stop.
me: i mean i donât really care what other people think of star wars charactersâ sexualities like. w/e, u know? different interpretations are chillÂ
some homophobe: but none of the star wars characters are gay there cannot be gay characters in star wars star wars does not have a single gay char

Hey Tumblrâ
A couple of weeks ago we announced an update to our Community Guidelines regarding adult content, and weâve received a lot of questions and feedback from you. First and foremost, we are sorry that this has not been an easy transition and we know we can do a better job of explaining what weâre doing. We knew this wasnât going to be an easy task and we appreciate your patience as we work through the challenges and limitations of correctly flagging tens of billions of GIFs, videos, and photos.
Today, December 17th, our policy begins to take effect. This means that we will start hiding â not deleting â posts that contain GIFs, videos, and photos from public view that are in violation of our policy. Again, this is a complex problem, and over the coming weeks we will gradually, and carefully, flag more adult content. (Yes, we will still make mistakes, but hopefully fewer and fewer.)
More importantly, we want to clarify the things that you, as a community, have asked about the most.
Tumblr will always be a place to explore your identity. Tumblr has always been home to marginalized communities and always will be. We fully recognize Tumblrâs special obligation to these communities and are committed to ensuring that our new policy on adult content does not silence the vital conversations that take place here every day. LGBTQ+ conversations, exploration of sexuality and gender, efforts to document the lives and challenges of those in the sex worker industry, and posts with pictures, videos, and GIFs of gender-confirmation surgery are all examples of content that is not only permitted on Tumblr but actively encouraged.
We also want to reiterate some important information from our Support post:
Your content will not be deleted. If your post(s) are flagged under the new policy, they will be hidden from public view and will only be visible to you. You can appeal these flags if you feel your content was erroneously marked as adult content. Upcoming feature changes will also make appeals more manageable for those of you with multiple flagged posts. Your blog wonât be deleted if youâve posted adult content in the past, and there is nothing you need to do if you have interacted with adult content up until nowâit will just be flagged and not publicly viewable. Donât forget too that you can download your content. Itâs yours after all, and we donât take that lightly.
What is still permitted? Weâve heard a lot of concern about what the policy does not permit, but we want to make sure that you also know what is still permitted:
Written content such as erotica, nudity related to political or newsworthy speech, and nudity found in art, specifically sculptures and illustrations, is also stuff that can be freely posted on Tumblr. Although, photorealistic imagery or photography â images, videos, or GIFs â with real humans that include exposed genitals or female-presenting (yeah, we know you hate this term) nipples or depict sex acts is not allowed per our guidelines. Examples of exceptions that are still permitted but that you may need to appeal if they are misclassified are: exposed female-presenting nipples in connection with breastfeeding, birth or after-birth moments, and health-related situations, such as post-mastectomy or gender confirmation surgery.
The automated tools will improve. Having a post mistakenly flagged as adult totally sucks; we understand and agree that there have been too many wrongfully flagged posts since we announced the policy change. With tens of billions of GIFs, videos, and photos to review and millions of new posts every day, we really need your help to get it right. The more you help by reporting content thatâs not permitted and by appealing content that you believe was flagged incorrectly, the better our automated tools will get at classifying your posts correctly. The more content these tools review, the more they will learn the difference between whatâs permitted and whatâs not. Most importantly, your content wonât be deleted if erroneously flagged and all appeals will be sent to a real, live human who can make the appropriate call.
We love Tumblr and the communities that call Tumblr home. You are Tumblr. This place has always been a reflection of the voices and communities that thrive here. As youâve always done, help us continue to shape Tumblr into the community you want it to be.
<3
@staff
Have you tried getting rid of the fucking nazis instead of making cute quips about how everyone rightly hates the term âfemale-presenting nipplesâ for being nonsensically vague, misogynist, and transphobic?
@staff instead of treating us like CHILDREN how about you just make a separate site that has no bad ~female presenting nipples~Â
OR, hear me out (but you wonât): MAKE PEOPLE INPUT THEIR BIRTHDAY WHEN THEY SIGN UP. IT WILL WEED OUT SOME MINORS AND YOU COULD HAVE IT SO IF THEY ARE NOT 18 ALL NSFW CONTENT IS AUTOMATICALLY HIDDEN
YOU COULD LITERALLY JUST HIDE ALL THE NAZIS. THE ONES WHO WANT TO LITERALLY CAUSE HARM TO AND MURDER THE GROUPS YOU SO CLAIM TO WANT TO PROTECT.Â
Just admit you fucked up and undo this!
Stop being pieces of shit who care only about money and reputation, care about the artists and creators who helped make your site popular in the first place!
WELCOME BACK! For those who logged off, this is what you missed.
1. @staff made a post pretty much saying âYour stuff isnât getting deleted, just hidden from everyone but youâ and âYeah we know you hate the term âfemale presenting nipplesâ but we ainât gonna stop saying itâ 2. If a blog has a pixelated icon that means they got hit by the ban, you cannot view that blog outside the sidebar. You cannot even view their archive. Allegedly if you follow the advice in this post itâll be fixed but only if it was an accidental flag (aka a real sfw blog) 3. The post Staff made including examples of what was ok to post. It got flagged. 4. Yes, the bots are still here. Yes they are still stealing posts and putting porn links on them. Yes there are still ads with stuff more sexual than they allow in posts. Yes innocent things are still getting flagged. 5. So yes, the site is still here and staff are still morons.
queer is a slur, grow up
âQueerâ was reclaimed as an umbrella term for people identifying as not-heterosexual and/or not-cisgender in the early 1980s, but being queer is more than just being non-straight/non-cis; itâs a political and ideological statement, a label asserting an identity distinct from gay and/or traditional gender identities.People identifying as queer are typically not cis gays or cis lesbians, but bi, pan, ace, trans, nonbinary, intersex, etc.: weâre the silent/ced letters. Weâre the marginalised majority within the LGBTQIA+ community, andâqueerâ is our rallying cry.
And thatâs equally pissing off and terrifying terfs and cis LGs.
Thereâs absolutely no historical or sociolinguistic reason why âqueerâ should be a worse slur than âgay.â Remember how we had all those campaigns to make people stop using âgayâ as a synonym for âbadâ?
Yet nobody is suggesting we should abolish âgayâ as a label. We accept that even though âgayâ sometimes is and historically frequently was used in a derogatory manner, mlm individuals have the right to use that word. We have ad campaigns, twitter hashtags, and viral Facebook posts defending âgayâ as an identity label and asking people to stop using it as a slur.
Whereas âqueerâ is treated exactly opposite: a small but vocal group of people within feminist and LGBTQIA+ circles insists that itâs a slur and demands that others to stop using it as a personal, self-chosen identity label.
Why?
Because âqueer is a slurâ was invented by terfs specifically to exclude trans, nonbinary, and intersex people from feminist and non-heterosexual discourse, and was subsequently adopted by cis gays and cis lesbians to exclude bi/pan and ace people.
Itâs classic divide-and-conquer tactics: when our umbrella term is redefined as a slur and weâre harassed into silence for using it, we no longer have a word for what we are allowing us to organise for social/political/economic support; we are denied the opportunity to influence or shape the spaces we inhabit; we canât challenge existing community power structures; weâre erased from our own history.
Iâm not kidding. Cis LGs have literally taken historical evidence of queer peopleâs involvement in the LGBT rights struggle and photoshopped it to erase us:
Pro tip: when you alter historical evidence to deny a marginalised group empowerment, youâre one of the bad guys.
âQueer is a slurâ is used by terfs and cis gays/lesbians to silence the voices of trans/nonbinary/intersex/bi/pan/ace people in society and even within our own communities, to isolate us and shame us for existing.
âQueer is a slurâ is saying âI am offended by people who do not conform to traditional gender or sexual identities because they are not sexually available to me or validate my personal identity.â
âQueer is a slurâ is defending heteronormativity.
âQueer is a slurâ is frankly embarrassing. Itâs an admission of ignorance and prejudice. Itâs an insidious discriminatory discourse parroted uncritically in support of a divisive us-vs-them mentality targeting the most vulnerable members of the LGBTQIA+ community for lack of courage to confront the white cis straight men who pose an actual danger to us as individuals and as a community.
Tl;dr:
Iâm here, Iâm queer, and Iâm too old for this shit.
solointhesand:
I know I keep reblogging posts like this, but it matters to me. âQueer is a slurâ is a TERF dogwhistle, and a lot of the younger generation is falling for it. Please pay attention to history and ask questions about whoâs behind social media campaigns that undermine the inclusivity of your community.
Queer is an excellent word, especially when your identity doesnât fit neatly within one little label. Queer is also an explicit rejection of normative expectations sexuality and gender. Itâs radical as fuck.
queer is a fantastic word and I love it so much
Iâm fucking queer-
Iâm agender, use he/him pronouns, so also trans... panromantic, aegosexual; BUT pan (preferring men) when âmy switch is flippedâ... thereâs A LOT going on.
Queer just works. Why bother someone I barely know with that long list of things when I can just say âqueerâ? It shows Iâm not straight, but that the lgbtâs might not quite cut it.
Queer is also like the they/them of sexuality. Why assume someoneâs x, y, or z when you could just say, for example, âI saw this lovely queer person at pride; their outfit was amazing.â and not assume their gender or sexuality.
Queer is a wonderful word and I canât imagine not using it.
Hey yâall watch Abattoir (2016)
Itâs from the guy who directed Saw ll-lV, Repo!, & Devils Carnival.
Itâs creepy and fairly original.
Ivan and Jarvis would say Iâm biased bc the sole reason I watched it is bc Iâm fond of Dayton Callieâs character in Devilâs Carnival but shhh never mind that. Abattoir is surprisingly good if you like slower creepy horror or horror with a bit of mystery.
(But also watch Devilâs Carnival and itâs sequel Alleluia... those are musicals tho. If u liked Repo! youâll like them; written by the same guy)
Gentlemen, it has been a privilege being horny on main with you tonight
