You, the reader, have wondered into the vast hall that is Exeltor. Your pointed ears twitch at the occasional drip of something deeper within the well lit hall.
Your gaze wanders around, the shelves upon shelves seeming to go up far beyond what you could easily see. The jars and bottles lining the shelves swirl with small lights and something akin to edible shimmer in water, the glow from them low. The candles that float around provide not only warmth, but also a warm lighting to the hall. You can see just enough to know how deep this place goes.
You let your feet carry you further in, the pillars lining the walls give the place just enough of an open look with how high the ceiling seems to go. The light tapping of your shoes or maybe, the soft patter of your feet on the warmed tile surface alert someone deeper in.
A pond comes into view and a tall figure stops what they were doing, the jar in their hand now empty. The open book in their other hand snaps closed with a tilt of their head, their eyes now on you.
"It seems I have a stray in my domain..." his voice low, almost a murmur as it gently reverberates around the area.
His eyes are locked on you, looking over every detail for a moment before he determines...something.
"Typically, there are no living beings outside of myself and the others when they visit." He circles around the pond of stars as you've come to notice it more, the colors of it drawing you in just enough to have him place a gentle hand on your shoulder.
"I wouldn't, not right now at least." The tone he uses was soft, gentle like an older brother holding you back from jumping at the first opportunity of revenge...was that why you were here?
No, it wasn't but you couldn't quite put your finger on the reason why. It almost makes you look up at him, unsure if they would know the reason.
You're about to open your mouth to speak, but the words feel heavy on your tongue. Your limbs began to feel just as, if not, heavier.
Your gaze goes from the hand on your shoulder, up to the crown like halo of stars that floats above the entity's white hair.
"Let's get you somewhere you can rest little one. You've already pushed yourself more than enough to get here."
You are picked up with ease and carried deeper into the hall. You barely see a door as your vision begins to fade, you can feel the low warmth of the main hall shift to something warmer as you are set onto a bed, the entity's arms leaving you there.
"Rest, I will return later with something for you to eat." His voice muffled as your senses fade, your body and seemingly, your soul tired from whatever you did to get here.
Soon, the sound of your alarm begins to pull you from the rest you were getting, the familiar setting of your bedroom comes to view as your eyes adjust to the morning sun coming through your window.
Part 1 of something, idfk. This will probably help me flesh out how Xel is since I have a base Idea, but this'll help me out before I have him in any of my books (if I decide to at least.) Reader won't have anything described on them, just know, he can lift practically anyone...the only one he cant is currently in Tremulta, the Library
