But if it wasn't random, then to what end? What meaning is there in giving him pointy ears when we never get to see them, and his potential elven heritage is never brought up in any interactions with him? Was that originally supposed to be a plot point?

DA Face Replacer 1.2.0 does work on DA2 as well as DAO.

You can also extract Hawke's head morph from any save game and then re-import it into any other save game using pyGFF's editor.exe and a simple one-step save game edit.

If you want to get really overly complicated you can make a morph preset (mop) for your Hawke which you can select directly in the character creator. Either by following the mop modding tutorials by lastofthecouslands and sarchiapozzo, or by using IceBuckets' DA2 Character Creator to make a headmorph in the DAO Toolset and export as a preset. Either of these involves a lot of detailed copy pasting of filepaths so it's not for impatient (lol).

full disclosure i am TERRIBLE at catching conflicts im so blase about my modlists i'm like. if it doesnt break my game it's ok. so don't hate me if it turns out i have very obvious conflicts here

this was literally the most amount of mods i've ever had in a single run LOL. i was aiming for an atmosphere that better fits the vibe that other games brought to the setting while still remaining lore-friendly and avoiding that gaudy Super Modded look, and i was pretty happy with it! if anyone has any questions feel free to drop an ask!
