I wish the answer to that question was yes. You have no idea how much Naeun and I love this directory and will continue to love till forever. We just don’t think it’d ever be a place would want to come back to even though it has countless memories that we both cherish so much. If by some grace of god a reasonable amount wished for this place to return, I’m sure Naeun and I would reconsider.

Hello, Luhan oppa! We are doing good right now, actually. But we just want to let you know that we miss you, too. I hope you're doing fine. It's nice to know that there are people who come around to leave messages like this. Warms our heart. Even if this place has closed down, doesn't mean we stop logging on. Oh we don’t plan to. I mean I still have it linked to my account for heaven’s sake and I don’t intend on ever taking that link down. We may not be using this place as a directory but like I said, you guys are more than welcome to pop on by here whenever you want. And hey, hey we’re all still around. We’re just not on this directory. That’s all. I mean Naeun and I did make that collective so we wouldn’t leave you guys with nothing. Anyways, no. Don’t thank us. If you want to find out what Naeun and I are doing with the next chapter of our lives, it's right here. Yes it's a way different thing than what we've ever done but I think we're at that point in our lives where we really want to just disregard the norm and do what gives us pleasure in our jobs. So that link's there if you want to continue on following our way of doing things. It's not a directory you have to tie yourself to so don't worry.

You know, having to say goodbye one time gets worse once you have to say a second time. When I think about this whole scenario, my mind immediately goes to the saying: "Once something is dead, it should stay dead (courtesy of some anon's words that I've read in a hate blog)." I start to think that maybe we shouldn't have reopened because we'd end up being at the same stop we came to like the first time. 

No, this isn't a bad thing. But it just makes me sad that we have to close this directory down again. When we first opened, it was to get away from the HQI-vibe and to finally settle down to having something that was actually ours; something we spent countless hours planning out to be the best. When we approached our end, it was one of the saddest things I've had to do because Arcana genuinely felt like a family. But then, there can never be a flawless story, correct? We've came across multiple potholes that sort of made our family bond diminish. 

When we decided to bring back Arcana, we thought that maybe we'd be able to bring back what we had. But let's be honest, we've all had gained new friends and gained new experiences that once we went back to what was familiar, we all just sort of...I guess you can say: got tired of each other. Nowadays, you rarely see two people solely in Arcana interact with each other. I feel like half of our members have probably floated away into another place or they just went inactive. It's hard to see the people that you thought would be the ones who would be by your side till the end, just to leave halfway through the trip.

We thought that bringing back this home, would be best, but looking at it now, only points out that it was probably not the brightest idea. But as we know, all ends lead to new beginnings. Yeah, it looks like this might be the end of the road for Arcana, but there'll always be this place in everyone's heart--deep down there--that we'll never truly forget about this place. 

For those who stuck around this far--maybe your time with us has been since SI or HQI--we are easily impressed by the fact that you're still with us so we express our humblest appreciation. For those who have been by our side since the first time around, thanks for coming back. Then, for those who joined us the second time, thank you for choosing us.

We do apologize that it didn't turn out as great the second time around, but just know that we have been trying our hardest, but sometimes life just likes to pull us away and leave a void. We hate to have to say goodbye again, but this time, we'll make this goodbye permanent. You'll see us around again in a new place nevertheless. But, we'll just have to let go of Arcana once and for all to finally move on with the past. Just never forget: you all are good job.

Arcana :: October 4th, 2013 - August 24th, 2014

So, uh, yeah. Things are starting to slow down due to school coming around the corner and whatnot. But, doesn't mean that things should stop here, right? I know that Arcana has been slipping lately and we've been rather inactive. I know this isn't exactly my place since I'm not in charge of events, but I am curious. If we were to hold a small movie night for our members, would you guys want to do it? I know it's going to take a lot of planning due to all the timezones, but we'd somehow make it work. 

So if you guys would like to participate in a movie night, please like this or just reblog? It doesn't really matter (Hey, even reply to this post). With that being said, I'll be signing off and I'll be back later~

If any of you guys were aware, both Sukyung and I have been rather busy. As of right now, I will be the only one here because Sukyung's mun will be out until Sunday. Then when she returns, I'll be gone for a few days. So we apologize that things will be extra slow this weekend and next week.
