I’m building an AU where Madara never left but he did withdraw from anything outside of his duties to the village. The Uchiha deserve to feel safe within the walls of the village and they come first in his eyes, any displays of aggression or political outbursts would negatively impact them.
Hashirama has noticed the withdrawal and is learning some things cannot be solved with smiles and peace talks or brute force. There is still far more healing to be done than he imagined and new wounds are beginning to form here and there.
There is a seamstress dressed like an oiran, she’s established herself in the lower market of Konoha, where those who would turn their nose up at the working class would never go.
Tamahisui is blunt, vain, and has more pride than most men. She also speaks as if she’s lived and seen more lifetimes than any human.
