This is my son, John’s, NCAA men’s basketball bracket. In a year when there have been more upsets as well as more unpredictability than ever, John got half of The Final Four correct AND still has both his Finals teams alive as well. With age comes change, and I’m 100% cool with that. I got glasses in 3rd grade ‘cuz my eyes are horrible. I got contacts in middle school and have worn glasses only sparingly since that day. But now that I’ve crossed the half-century mark, the eyes continue to change and so, for the next two weeks, you’ll see me in glasses while my eyes adjust to not having little pieces of plastic in them. In two weeks, I go back to the eye doctor and we get to figure out if bifocal contacts will work for me, or if glasses are the best option moving forward.
