Highkey annoyed that the balders gate 3 Fandom has made any discussion on Mystra absolutely fucking terrible to sit through, because the games very OOC writing of her is now the most popular depiction of her. So anyone who tries to talk about how the writing of BG3's mystra makes no sense gets dogged on, and anyone who tries to talk about Mystra within the FORGOTTEN REALMS outside of bg3 always has the conversation go back to the game. Or people pulling out the same 2 stories written by a misogynist as an excuse to write off a goddess who's not just supposed to be a good aligned goddess, but can very easily be read as a r*pe victim aligory in the VERY STORY that BG3 pulls from (Karsus' Folly)
Like I get that BG3 exploded outside the d&d player base, and even then not everyone who plays d&d cares about the lore or reads the forgotten realms books- it's just annoying that it's impossible to talk about one of my favorites figures in the mythos without everyone shouting about her being a groomer now bc Larian decided to fucking dog on her and EVERYONE acts like that completely erases her existence outside of this one game
