Kaz is overconfident and self absorbed and genuinely so fucking awful, and yet from the very fucking beginning it’s easy to see that he’s done this all out of survival.

Kaz is terrifying. Kaz is dangerous. Kaz is powerful and influential and he‘s become a sort of boogeyman, all while being only 17 years old

And he has a limp. He‘s conspicuous. He’s in a lot of pain all the time. And he’s survived not in spite of, but because of his disability.

It’s an important part of his image- it helps to build mystique while at the same time tricking people into underestimating him.
