KuroFai Olympics, 2024: Ancient vs Modern

Team Art: Pine, Spruce - Hope in Adversity

Set in an AU where they're on opposite sides of some conflict and can only communicate through letters. Maybe Fai's a prince and Kurogane's a knight! Maybe they're from different countries and they're visiting the same kingdom for once! Maybe they're both nobles in a court but can't be seen talking to each other!

Benten gave a shaky chuckle. “I think that’s been building up in me for a while. I— Yeah, you’re right. I should probably wait until he’s better before I open that can of worms at him, huh?” “Perhaps,” Nureyev said with a wry look. Benten flopped back down into the chair next to Nureyev, pulling his leg up once more, and the pair lapsed into mutual silence. The clock continued to tick.

Second year doing the @penumbrabang as an artist and I’ve had a blast! Here’s the first piece I did, a tabloid cover which was super fun to make.

Day 4: Freebie - Redraw!

Since we had a free day, I decided to redraw one of my old Zutara Week pieces from 2013. The prompt then was calor, and tbh I’m embarrassed by old art but it just shows how much I’ve improved! I’m putting the old piece under the read more bc listen. It’s bad. At least one thing hasn’t changed, and that is that backgrounds still vex me, lol.

Day 2: Disguised

Made it in time!! I wanted to draw some Blutara, and the classic fic Dancing in the Dark by DamageCtrl immediately came to mind, so this is inspired by that!

It’s that time of the year again! I have like, nothing prepared so we’ll see how many prompts I’m able to get to, but I’m going to do my best.

Zutara Week has a special place in my heart and I’m excited to see what everyone did this year!

If you know me, you know I love vintage fashion, so here have 1950′s Zuko and Katara! Fun fact, I own the dress Katara’s wearing, it’s one of my favorite pieces of vintage.

Day 2: Counterpart

What, you thought I’d be able to make it through zutara week without drawing the Blue Spirit and the Painted Lady? That’s impossible for me!!!
