There's an honest to biscuits vampire arc where one of them is kept alive against their will by the other. Fai loses an eye in a traumatic way because he really is just proto-Qifrey. Do you like the Qifrey clone theory? GOOD. Because between the Fai & Syaoran and Fai & Yuui bullshit you have ALL avenues covered.
