AUTISM RESPONSE: Rubber ducks and other rubber bath toys can accumulate mold on the inside because of small holes underneath where moisture becomes trapped. The mold often goes unnoticed because it's not visible from the outside.

I admit I'm gay because I'm attracted to male fiction characters *(although I think that I could be pansexual, but I know that happens MORE often with men).

I'm also aroace and demisexual *(last, from the only time I've ever been in love with someone).

Although I haven't come out the closet in real life... I'm non-binary and use they/it/he *(I'm also comfortable with masculine terms! :)

I honestly think that nonbinary people should be allowed to be mean* about our genders without getting shit for it more often.

*(Read: Assertive of our boundaries and stood firm on the fact that our identities are deserving of respect)

We should be allowed to make a sour face or take a cold tone with someone when they carelessly misgender us for the fifth time in a row despite multiple corrections. We should be allowed to complain about erasure and ask where our needs and experiences come into play when we hear people reinforcing binary normativity in their discussions of gender related issues. We should be allowed to be visibly/audibly angry with other trans people when they try to forcibly categorize us as fem or masc, or imply that our enbyness is a mere phase that will eventually lead to "real/full" (binary to binary) transition.

Nonbinary people should be allowed to take our identities seriously and expect others to do the same for us, regardless of whether or not we will come off as mean for doing so. Because quite frankly, upon seeing how exorsexist the world has become recently, I think we haven't been mean enough.

I don't get out of the closet IRL but I think I should at least be able to be annoyed and not friendly when someone like a coworker repeatedly talks down to me like a little girl with a babyish nickname that annoys me terribly, it's bad enough I can't be they/them or he/him openly, but I can't be treated as an equal worker? and yes, coworker IS aware it bothers me. Doesn't matter, one of the managers is her longtime friend that hired her from another job they both worked at.

I think my anger is valid! I hate when strangers talk to me like they assigned myself as my fake parent and a toxic one at that, telling me what I'll be called and looking down upon me that I can't have any reaction to it. Punishing me that I got frustrated. Assuming I can't even read sometimes (I'll be told things I can see with my own eyes!).

I think it's partly they hate people younger than them but also partly ableism because the coworker may be intentionally trying to overwhelm me and make masking hard. (If I feel undermined, I can't hide it very well and meltdown, partly due to CPTSD, sometimes I feel like anger mode is like a werewolf transformation and it's hard to fight my face/voice/etc. despite I don't get violent and control myself best I can, it's still 'attitude' after I feel angry I'm getting bullied at work, because the young person is doing it? it's fine for people older than me to disrupt and bother me for fun though, somehow they aren't the ones 'having attitude and being rude'? it's not rude to do something you know is distracting and upsetting someone on purpose? much less gets me in trouble?! - makes some ableists believe I'm a toddler who can't even read?)
