and how in Mare Do Well, Rainbow says she hates being alone:

And in the song Ill Fly, she specifically says she's going to keep Tank by her side so she won't be alone, and was sobbing at the thought of losing him

And how Rainbow moved to ponyville on her birthday, further evidence that she left Cloudsdale and her parents as soon as she could and never talked to them again, since they didn't know she saved Ponyville or was a wonderbolt, and their constant 'support' of her regardless of how well she actually did was likely the biggest contributing factor to her disaster zone of a self esteem

And the fact she was bullied and was alluded to that she got kicked out of flight school, and was the weakest performer in flight competitions at one point (and if the comics are canon, then she also had a debilitating fear of flying in front of others and had to be forced to compete) and I'm pretty sure her only friends were Gilda and Fluttershy

And how she canonically has a disability that prevents her from being a fully functional person and makes it difficult to learn

Not to mention the complete and utter bullcrap she's had to put up with from her friends, and from the bolts on a few occasions
