YAYAYAYAYAYAY HEHEHE black and red are my favorite colors and one of my all time favorite color combos and—idk it just felt right for him with his almost pseudo-goth vibe lol. I think HE likes to think he’s Dr. Jeckl/Dr. Frankenstein lmao

But yeah, I notice most of the cast dresses either in black/grey/blue OR lighter neutrals and pastels?? And I like it, but i figured id try something a little more unique? I’ll probably draw him in stuff closer to what Wilson wears as well though (I think they’d at least be acquaintances for whatever reason and idk why yet. Maybe Wilson just gets along with somewhat insane people with mobility aids /j /silly)

And YIPPIE!! I tend to default to silver when adding detailing, but I thought a warm gold fit better. He’s the kind of guy to dress super formally just to go buy coffee but look absolutely rumpled and ratty by the end of the day with messy hair and an uneven tie and jewelry shoved in pockets cause it got annoying to deal with

I love the pseudo-goth vibe!! Like you said it feels very unique for House characters and it makes him stand out in a really good way. Wilson would LOVE him, especially since he likes psycho-analyzing slightly insane people and that’s the vibe I get from him. I love the idea of his clothes getting more messy by the end of the day, he shows up to work really well dressed and then he’s insanely messy by the end of it.

And yeah, I just thought it was a fun idea! He comes into work all neat and tidy and well-groomed and leaves looking like he just walked though a bad storm
