"Midgardian? But you must be confused, I am from New Orleans." Gambit smirked, arching his brow at the man once he introduces himself. "...Thor? Then dis is a great honor! It isn't everyday we get to meet a god, nes pas?" Gambit dramatically bowed, speaking in an equally theatrical tone. "Gambit, at your service."

I’m not sure they view you as a friend, a thorn in their side perhaps? But you’re right, as usual, I need a change right now - care to show the way Remy? 

"Ah, but that is the thing ma chére, I am everyone's friend." He smiled with his lips but not with his eyes, calmly stretching his arm, asking Natasha to walk past him through an old building entrance. "Ladies first."

“Are you implying a desire to play, Mr. LeBeau?”

"Moi? Oh, I imply nothing, mon ami. Buuut. If you insist..." The thief chuckled quietly. "Ah, mais, of course, before every gambling game I think it's only fair to ask what my prize will be." Gambit paused, pressing his hand against his heart with fake modesty. "That is if I win."

She gave him a slow once over, a single brow arching. “Are you often in trouble?” Her lips kicked up just a little higher at one corner. “You strike me as the kind of man who brings the trouble with him. All-inclusive.” 

Remy arched an eyebrow at her as his lips slowly parted, allowing a small smile to spread across his face. The Cajun had to look away, chuckling with amusement. "More than I would like to be, oui." Gambit turned to stare back at her. "And, come now, I don't bring trouble. Trouble follows me. I am that irresistible." Gambit gave Natasha a slow once over, lips curling into a devious little grin. "Are you trouble?"

“I put up a decent fight when it’s necessary.” He raised an eyebrow and watched the other man. “And what makes you think I’ll do that? Give me one good reason.”

"Necessary." Gambit repeated with a scoff, his accent dragging the last syllable for longer than it was needed. "I don't think it's necessary to put up a fight with me, Tony. I am not out to conquer the world," Gambit smirked and shrugged. "Just your money." The thief arched his brow. "It's not the suit that makes you such a successful hero, mon ami. It's your luck. Your extraordinary luck. You could even say you have an advantage, nes pas? Karma only began to repay me recently. But you...You were the richest man on earth before you were even born."
