My name is Nathan

I like dogs, Mythology (especially Greek, Norse, or Egyptian), art, and right now the biggest thing I talk about is my service dog lol

I’m also Helpol/pagan on top of that- I work with multiple Greek gods as well as Freyja!

I mainly use he/they pronouns, but I don’t really care much. I do have a strong dispense to she and it, but other than that pretty much whatever you are fine with. 

I am 19, transmasc (sometimes I say boy flux or demiboy idk I’m still figuring out) and i consider myself either gay or bi despite being somewhere on the aroace spectrum

I’m a disabled artist, I’ve written a couple songs and make a lot of art. I consider many things art - music, drawing, photography, writing, nature, all of it!

I think this blog is just gonna be my dog lol, though I’m gonna probably post my art too

Also, some of my art will have different names (Florian, Arlo, RJ I think are the main ones) because signing my name with preferred names is one of the way I try them out, and I’m too lazy to go change it

officially day 7, I am at an 8/10 on the pain scale, my mom has decided I ‘shouldn’t need’ the prescription pain meds anymore so I just stay awake all night in agony because ibuprofen only works for a little bit of time, so I stay up all night in pain

She doesn’t seem to realize that, having had chronic pain since the age of 6 at the latest, I have gotten used to hiding my pain.

I’ve been at a 10/10 and it didn’t show on my face, I was just bouncing my foot and wouldn’t keep it still (where the pain was, infected ingrown toenail on the side not at the top…).

not to mention ibuprofen and Tylenol barely works for me anyway

so now it’s day 8 of not sleeping properly, I’m exhausted but I’m too much pain to fall asleep when I try, and I feel like a burden for telling my mom how much pain I’m in because my dad refuses to help out with the house or anything despite not working right now (my mom is working 14 hour shifts as a nurse, then has to cook dinner, clean the house, and recently she’s the one taking care of me Post op while my dad does video games, until she had to make him do it.)

Sending Mr. Apollo to a month-long board and train on Wednesday so until then he’s sleeping in my bed

gonna miss him so much, his snuggles have been very much needed and appreciated, but right now he wants to cuddle with my body pillow

it would take between $40 and $100 million per year to end world hunger by 2030.

Elon Musk could end world hunger and still be a billionaire. if every billionaire in the world chipped in an equal percentage each year, they would still be millionaires at the very least.

it’s usually accompanied by the biggest body wag your ever see

he is either right at my side, on the floor beside me, or watching me from a distance. He has not been much farther than me for more than about 20-30 minutes, and when he is he checks in on me every once in a while.

for so long I worried I chose the wrong dog for the job, that he isn’t cut out to be a service dog, but I came home and despite not always understanding when I ask for it and seeming nervous of the smell (they’d given me multiple different meds and even I could smell the anesthesia) he came up and do Deep Pressure Therapy. He was super duper gentle (or tried lol, he’s still a baby and doesn’t know his size).

if he isn’t on/by the couch/my bed, he’s usually in the kitchen. He watches me from the kitchen but of course, food is still important too. He would lay either at the stairs like shown there, or against the fridge or island and keep an eye on me.

even when the swamp cooler was on and the rest of the house was hot, he stayed to watch me instead of going up to lay under the fan.

he also ate a squirrel tail and had diarrhea last week, and usually if he’s whining and nudging at his crate, he’s sick (he ate something else a few weeks back and kept whining in his crate, then had diarrhea, and after he ate something weird at a campout he whined and then had diarrhea in the car), so I was worried.

Nope, he jumped right up on my bed no problem and laid down.

he’s going to a board and train for a whole month on Wednesday, so I don’t mind sharing my bed his last few nights before that- I’m still not feeling great after my surgery anyway, so his presence is comforting

Sometimes if I do something once or something new happens one way, he does it the same way every other time. Apparently bully sticks now equal sleeping with dad. And I am ok with that

Daughter who shouldn’t exist

she is promised to the priest as a sacrifice later in life

she is locked in the basement her whole life and never leaves

finally escapes, gets caught

wakes up and realizes she is about to be sacrificed

next either:

a) she escapes on the way to be prepared for the active, shot with a crossbow, in and out as they prepare her for the sacrifice, wakes up as they begin the sacrifice

b) more detailed rituals and preparations, darker side of the town,

c) her family tries to save her, more of the other people’s reaction, heartstrings pulling
