I love my country

Lmao I was thinking maybe I should hire a career coach but I think someone local to the area I'm considering moving to would have more knowledge and so I looked it up and here are the four options:

Man with a ton of experience that seems like the right fit. Also retired, not taking any new clients and has his email posted nowhere so I can't even ask for a referral.

Woman who exclusively offers design your life through the bible counselling

Woman who describes things as "soul care" and "legacy growth" which maybe isn't what I need when my questions are more like "should I write the bar exam or get an MBA"

Woman who might not be exactly the right vibe, but close enough, however she'll only talk to you if you live in a PSYPACT state. Also says she's not taking new clients.

all birthdays are there, don't give up! troubleshooting :

when looking for your birthday, make sure to read the small grey italicized number, not the big orange numbers ; january 14, for example, is on the 25th day of the month of nivôse.

there are three months for each season ; if you're on mobile, you may need to scroll sideways to see the third one.

some birthdays in september are in a special section. that is because the first day of the year is september 22nd, and the last few days of the year before that are special holidays. see :

also, i know i joked about some days being less cool than others, but that's also the point of the calendar : replacing worship of saints with appreciation of the tools and plants that allow us to live. don't feel bad for having topsoil as your day, where would be without topsoil?

Been craving The Keg so we’re going tonight. It’s basically a chain steakhouse but it was my grandfather’s favourite so I’ve been like a hundred times before but maybe only three times since his death. He actually went to the original location back in BC which was above a race track so I think he loved that he could go in Ontario when the chain spread that far

The best order btw is:

Caesar salad to start, prime rib as rare as you can get it, twice baked potato as your side and Billy Miner pie to finish. Option to add a lobster tail if you go in the summer.

Has anyone seen The Invite? Super funny and absolutely recommend

Like I’m not much of a movie person but this one had me laughing out loud with everyone in the theatre and yet it never felt over the top. It goes exactly where you think it will when you hear it’s about two couples having dinner at one of their apartments but also in like 10 other directions you’re not expecting.

Go see it in theatres. It’s more fun with more people laughing around you

Can I be so honest and admit I don’t know the story of the odyssey? Like I’m so confused why everyone’s acting like this is a core western story when I know that most people won’t even read one book. Was there like a different movie at some point? A course you all had to take?
