This is not a comeback, I no longer use tumblr and if I did come back I would make a brand new account. I am only hopping back on here to say something real quick:
The last post (besides this one I’m posting now) is nearly five years old I think. The last time I was on this account was when I was 16, maybe 17.
Yet there’s people on here throwing a fit over posts even older than that.
Not only is it embarrassing because it’s clear you LOOKED THESE POSTS UP to whine about drama from half a decade ago
But as an added perspective as someone who has spent a LOT of time in queer spaces IN PERSON after graduating highschool:
Real life queer spaces are extremely tolerant and inclusive and accepting AND EDUCATED
Please. Go touch grass. Go interact with irl queer spaces. It’s extremely obvious you do not and are chronically online.
No amount of “b-b-but I do interact with irl queer spaces” will convince me that you’re telling the truth
Your little group of five people is not an irl queer space.
Your little meeting that deliberately excludes certain groups of the community ON THE ADVERTISEMENT is not an irl queer space.
Go to a public queer space. Pride parades, drag shows, the lgbtq+ club at your college if you attend, local queer organizations focused on support and connection rather than tearing each other apart.
People are dying. People are being attacked physically and politically. People are being hurt for simply existing as they are.
There are more important things than dictating if someone is “queer enough” for the community.
If we do not focus on the right fight, we may not even have a living community. Picking a fight within our own only helps those against us as a whole.
