So, a few weeks ago I posted an illustration of kerberos from SCC and got a comment from a person who wanted me to make an illustration of them dog, at first I was so happy because I am trying to get commissions. So I talk to this person we agreed on how should I make the illustration etc, and I charged this person 20 dls and told them that I only do by paypal, but then, out of sudden, this person told me that they wanted to give 300dls, cause they liked my illustrations so much and cause I was making an illustration of they beloved dog. It was so confusing and it make me a little bit uncomfortable but I told them that I won´t charge them something that is not and sticked with the 20dls but if they wanted to give me a tip depending of how they see the final result I will accept it.
It didn't take a lot to finish the illustration but it took efort and time. I told them that I got finished the illustration and ready to sent the images, so I asked them for an email, I got it and sent them, and they asked me if they can pay me so I did tell them yes please, cause I need the money to pay my cat's food, and they sent a screen shot of paypal telling that they sent me the money and it was weird that screen shot and then they sent me a message telling me something like "you should get the email from paypal it could be at spam as well" so I checked it out, confirmed with my boyfriend that the email from "paypal" it was weird and it turned out that it wasn't even from paypal so I told them like " you should checked it out, because of this mail, it doesn't seem right" so they were like "oooh really" and then I sent them the real link from paypal.
So I decided to give them time, for them to figure it out, cause that was yesterday, and I was about to message them today but it turned out that they blocked me and I never got the money.
I feel so frustrated and fool, cause I was counting on that money, cause like I said before, it was for my cat's food and cause that person got my work for free basically.
