i’m trying to rebuild my itunes library and it’s so much more work than i thought it would be it’s v overwhelming and i’m being punished for being a music lover

#fuck spotify but i guess there is something to be said for the convenience 🙄#i’m working this in stages bc it’s insane how much work this is so since my $38 goodwill computer is a blank slate #i’m doing itunes downloads first then home sharing over the 3000 songs i have on my laptop #then i’m heading into the most arduous task of all which will be ripping cds #so i should be done by maybe next february i 😖#i keep getting distracted bc i keep hitting download and i’m like OH!!! because i forgot about a song or #i’m like omg!!!! love!!!! and i listen to it 6 times in a row then i force myself to move on and like i’ve been doing this for almost 3 #hours now and i’m only in 2011 in my purchases like this is fr going to take me forever #like i didn’t even realize how many songs i bought from itunes it’s crazy and i swear some are missing too so like #i will not mention how many glee songs i actually paid money to own. that’s something.#not me acting like i’m not that same person lmao literally some glee songs are good as hell ok also sidenote #if your library has freegal they literally have every glee song ever to download for free. not that i care #anyway ok bye i’m trying to at least make it through the purchases today i thought i could finish purchases and be done with #home sharing but clearly that’s not happening
