We can be a family again once more!

“You don’t say,” Niles said, shuddering. “I enjoy sex as much as anyone, but I’d rather at least consent to the tentacles before they were sprung on me.” He made a vain attempt to fix his shirt, eventually giving up and just letting it hang open.

“You could stab it a few more times if you’re not sure it’s dead, my lord,” Niles suggested. “I certainly wouldn’t mind watching that.”

“If you wish to do so yourself, be my guest. I can only assume it would satisfy your curiosity, and revenge.” He handed the spear over to Niles, more focus on the throne room itself. Had it followed the other man in here, or did it appear within this room? “How did it corner you in here?” Xander looked back to the other, trying not to become distracted with how exposed the other looked, having his clothing torn like that.

Niles couldn’t help but flinch a little as Xander raised the spear- the strange creature attack already had his adrenaline running high, and that weapon came down dangerously close to his stomach. He pushed himself free of the bizarre tentacles as soon as he was able, getting to his feet rather dazed and stricken.

“I’m- ah, sorry you had to see that, my lord.” Niles cleared his throat, bowing his head in respect to the crown prince. He would endeavour to be polite to Leo’s siblings, although in cases like this, perfect decency wasn’t really possible. Half the buttons on his shirt were gone, exposing most of his chest, and his pants were torn open at the front.

“No need to apologize, Niles...” Xander pulled the spear free from the creature, noticing how it just ceased it’s movements after that. Was it truly dead? He gently nudged it with his boot before realizing that may have been a bad idea. This thing was still oozing, how disgusting.  His attention went back to the other man, noticing the disheveled appearance to him. Brown eyes trailed down his body, mainly examining the damaged done to his clothing before he quickly looked away, face flushed a little.

The prince couldn’t sleep, and it had resulted in him wandering the halls of the castle. He had been lost within his own thoughts, until he heard something coming from the throne room. Unfortunately, Siegfried lay in his chamber and not at his side at the moment as he slowly approached the doors that led into the room. It wasn’t until he was sure he heard the voice of a certain retainer of his little brother that he rushed in, though now before yanking a spear free from a suit of armor nearby. Upon seeing the beast that held the man in his grip, Xander was stunned at first. How on earth did that thing get in here? Where did it even come from?

((OKAY! Here’s what’s up all you lovely people! I want to revive this blog! The muse never left, he’s always been there and I miss him. I know everyone does as well, and honestly I’m super happy to hear from friends that they miss this not-so-squishy muse of mine. HOWEVER, the reason it’s been so difficult for me to get on this blog is because my mind has associated anxiety with it and it becomes difficult for me to stay logged on for very long. SO, I wanna try and take this slow. I’m probably going to interact with very few people on this blog for a while, and please don’t take offense. I wanna try and ease myself back into activity without agitating what anxiety is already there.
