Hiya! My name's River, I've slithered back into reading BTS fics so I thought I'd revive this blog for a little bit. I won't be much help with finding fics but I'm more than willing to post asks so others may help. Also I would love if you all would also submit recs of your fav fics to share (⌒▽⌒)☆

Jungkook is the perfect son, altar boy and Christian. Then Kim Namjoon walks into his life.

Get up, work, sleep - rinse and repeat - Yoongi sticks with the formula for three years. He hates his job and avoids people, but he loves his cat. Then he gets to know Jungkook. (Sope are coworkers at a vague company. Jungkook is Yoongi’s cute neighbor who never takes the elevator.)

Jeon Seokjin has exactly four weeks to stop the impending engagement of his younger brother, doomed to a loveless marriage. The only way to stop it is to make a better match, more advantageous, more lucrative for the Jeon family. It's impossible. It's his only option. Min Yoongi does not want, will never want, will never ever even consider, marriage. It's not in the cards. He's stubborn enough to achieve the total ban on marriage talks. Except maybe his grandmother is a little more stubborn than he is, and maybe she's determined to see him march down the aisle. The chaebol arranged marriage au that exactly one and a half people asked for.

A stranger argues with him over cat ratings on his own damn blog, and Yoongi wasn't expecting it to be the start of a friendship, but here they are. (Or: Namjoon, Hoseok, and Yoongi run a travel blog, Yoongi's been running for three years, and Jungkook is lonely in Seoul.)

Give it a try, his brother had said. It’s meant to be good for you. Healing, I guess. “You’re new, right?” It’s the guy. Up close, Yoongi can see him clearer. His hair must have been clean in the morning but it’s covered in dust now, from paddocks and hay and the arenas. His shirt was white originally but there’s great big smears of brown from the same sort of places. He smells like hay and dust and horse, but his smile is warm, his teeth as big as the horses’. “Y-Yeah,” Yoongi swallows hard. “Yoongi. Nice to meet you." The guy doesn’t have any accent—his Seoul dialect is perfect, because he must have heard Yoongi’s—and he isn’t at all a hick, Yoongi supposes. Maybe he is and he just has manners. Whatever. “It's Hoseok," he replies. "Nice to meet you too."

Seokjin learns through the sharpest pain and the brightest joy that family is not who shares your blood, but who shares your heart. Or, five kids from different homes and one clumsy husband show him that love doesn't come easily.

For Seokjin, the rules for being a doctor in gang territory were simple: keep his clinic open at all costs, treat his patients with care, watch out for his brother Jungkook, and most of all, avoid the thugs. The last thing he expected was to get caught up in a gang war, or to find himself falling for Bangtan’s leader, Rap Monster. And in a world where rules are everything, sometimes breaking them can mean the end of everything. That is, if his heart doesn't kill him first.

Jungkook decided that the best way to fill the gaping void in his life was with copious amounts of cheap soju. It seemed so much more easier than trying to figure out what to do with his future. Except for the two police officers on his ass that keep trying to make him behave that is…

Jimin marries Yoongi, an alpha farmer living alone, in the hope of a brighter future and some semblance of happiness. After his first husband was killed in a mining accident, Jimin has no fortune to his name and nothing to lose. His only chance is to marry another alpha through the mail-order system and hope that this one won't hit him quite as hard as the last one did. Yoongi is a farmer looking for someone to share his life with. But things are done differently where Jimin comes from and there are years of abuse Yoongi has to unravel before their marriage could hope to work. All is made worse by the fact Jimin doesn't seem to realise there was anything wrong with his last marriage in the first place. Could this be a happy ending or is it doomed from the start?
