Mod Miles here, and this is the first I’ve heard of this! I do wanna respect your worries, but it’s a little difficult to effectively address your concern when I don’t know which mod you’re referring to, or what ships. Would you mind following up with some more specifics?

As for the mods, we already have done that! We have a mod post on our blog with everyone’s information and links. I just reblogged it for easier access, as it may have gotten buried by our application post. 

To address to your concern regarding applicants, we will not be allowing any contributor who creates offensive content, including abuse, incest, or pedophilia into the zine. 

I hope this addresses your concern? I tried the best I could with the information I have, but do please  reach out with more if you want to have a further discussion. You can either send another ask, send me a direct message @baitsberry, or email us at [email protected]. 

I would really like to assuage these concerns, speak with the mod in question, and see if a solution can be reached! Again, please reach out if you feel comfortable doing so.

Hello, thank you for the question!!Mod Miles here, and I will be! Perhaps “game” wouldn’t be the best word to use, as we’re more intending to code an interactive map that you can walk around as A&C, and interact with/click on different areas of the map to read little dialogues or anecdotes (hence where the writers come in)! We are also looking for an artist to draw the map itself, and someone to design the walking sprites for A&C. 

It’s not quite a game and wont be super plot heavy or anything, just something we thought would be fun as a piece of digital merch :) I hope this answered your question, and feel free to reach out again if it didn’t!

Thank you so much for your interest! But this zine is specifically dedicated to showcasing artists’ poc headcanons for Aziraphale and Crowley. There has been a lot of art depicting them as white, so we want to put a spotlight on non-white depictions.

We will be accepting, white-passing/light-skinned depictions though. We want this zine to be a space for people to be able to see and share themselves and their own experience!

What is this zine about?

This zine is focused on Aziraphale and Crowley’s 6000 years on Earth. It is also meant to give fans an opportunity to showcase their poc headcanons and depict these characters in a less white, eurocentric context.

We would like to remind you that applications are only open to people of color. The purpose of this zine is to shine a spotlight on poc creators. We trust people to be honest and respectful of that.

Hello, this is Mod Tenten! Thank you for sharing your concerns.

I’d like to first clarify my reasons as to why I accepted a white person onto the moderator team. I reasoned that as a finance mod, Alex would have very little to do with interacting with the contributors.

As the contributors will all be poc, I understand it’s important that the people who will be accepting contributors and interacting with them personally be poc.I had also appointed them as a writing mod, because at the time I believed that the position of a beta reader/editor was still a distant enough position. But after discussion with the other mods, I understand now how the dynamic of a white person interacting with a poc’s work in that way is an uncomfortable one. Therefore, Mod Alex will no longer be a writing mod.

Basically, I would like to assure everyone that this is still very much a project directed by people of color and for people of color. I am familiar with the frustration towards projects that claim to be for people of color yet have only white people at the head and I do not intend for this to be the case for this zine.

Alex is assisting us on this project, but they will not be holding any power at all over the contributors, the contributors’ work, or any of the decisions regarding the zine and its contents besides financial ones. All of that will be handled by Mod Miles and I.
