God of Herds and Flocks, Travellers and Hospitality, Roads and Trade, Thievery and Cunning, Heralds and Diplomacy, Language and Writing, Athletic Contests and Gymnasiums, Astronomy and Astrology, and Guide of the Dead who led souls down into the Underworld.
God of roads and travel.
Survives through wit/adaptability over brute force.
Messenger between realms. Above the board and below. Really lives in the liminal space few others do.
Came to be regarded as the god of language, alongside Mnemosyne.
Notable mentions: N/A This man is Hermes to the core.

Andrew Minyard --- ARTEMIS
Goddess of the Hunt, Wilderness, Young Women, and Children.
Fierce guardian of bodily autonomy. Several myths revolve around personal boundaries and consent.
Has her Hunters as her very small, loyal group that she trusts.
Very stoic. Shows affection or loyalty through intense action over words.
Her protectiveness doesn't come from some inate need to nurture. It comes from knowing what it feels like to be the unprotected.
Notable mentions: Hades. I know, I know. Yell at me in the comments. Narrative-wise, it's not wrong. But Hades is a lot more compliant in his role and less independent-minded. There is also someone else who fits him more.

God of Prophecy and Oracles, Music, Song and Poetry, Archery, Healing, Plague and Disease, and the Protection of the Young.
The "Golden Boy" of the Gods (Exy).
Known for demanding perfection from himself and other. Built a personality/persona around best The Best. Quick to anger if you talk shit about his skills.
Often perceived as arrogant and insensitive when it comes to his craft. Believes discipline is the way to perfection.
Prideful, but puts trust in the few he deems worthy/respects.
Loves a prophecy. (The Perfect Court)
Notable mentions: I KNOW. I know this will be contested. Some of you screaming "ATHENA!" but no. Love him dearly, that boy is not Goddess of Wisdom, war or not. And all him and Hera have in common are that they're petty Queens. Also, Kevin literally does everything possible to EVADE conflict. Actual honorable mentions go to Nike and Hephaestus.

God of Fire, Smiths, Craftsmen, Metalworking, Stonemasonry and Sculpture.
In a Pantheon full of loud or severe or charismatic characters, is often overshawed by or overlooked for their more subtle and practical thoughts and actions.
Traumatized as a child, still trying to forge a better future for himself.
Resilient and hard-working to reach his dream of a normal life.
Notable mentions: Asclepius. God os healing really only hit on his career and not overall personality and outlook.

Notable mentions: Nike, Hera, and Demeter. Several smaller myths, but ultimately, I think only an Athena could captain the Foxes at the stage she did and lead them to victory.

Jeremy wanting to do the trend of showing Jab ‘places in the house he’s never seen before’ & so Jeremy carries Jab around the apartment showing the little dog inside the fridge, behind the couch, inside pots on the balcony etc but bcs Jeremy is ~just a bit~ vertically challenged, Jean has to come behind to lift HIM so that he can continue to show Jab all of the top cabinets in the kitchen, inside the hanging pots where the birds make their nests outside, the top of the closet where they keep all of their extra Exy jerseys and old sneakers, etc etc and it’s such a cute, silly little thing and of course Jean huffs a lil like “this is ridiculous” but it should be VERY seriously noted that Jeremy DID NOT ASK Jean to do this; the Frenchman put himself in charge of lifting/lowering his boyfriend around the lofts so Jab could get the proper ‘grand tour’ (and ofc Jeremy smiles giddily at that prospect while in his arms, Jab yaps away and lets his tail wag)
