hmmm quite fond of this squid that i just dusted off

ive been getting back into customizing lps lately, its SUPER fun and ive been really enjoying it so far the most recent one is this little kitty/kestrel taur :) originally it was going to be based off of falin, but i decided to only use her as an inspo because i thought the lps would look super cute in an american kestrel pattern i am still learning with making customs, so the paint isnt too smooth and you can see some scuff marks where the two molds merge + i am still learning how to blend the clay into the mold but other than that, i am very happy with how this custom came out :) she gives me cuteness aggression. accidentally dropped her at one point and she withstood it with only a chip of paint coming off, so shes a champ as well

so, as someone who is really into prehistoric animals and was SUPER into lps, im surprised there was never any prehistoric or extinct lps molds? had to take matters into my own hands i wanted to make a hypothetical pet pair for a dire wolf and smilodon, im imagining they would be some sort of exclusive to a museum? im pretty happy with how the smilodon came out! imo the dire wolf could have some additional tweaks made to it, but overall i really like how these came out

i rise from my grave. hello!! i havent posted these guys to tumblr yet surprisingly?? so! take my fakemon starters! the water one, at least These guys are for my Southern California inspired region, Solcal! They're the most stereotypically socal you can get. surfing sea lions. yeah. The first stage is Beasea, which compared to the other two stages their art is pretty old, but I don't see much wrong with it so I don't really have a reason to update it? Other than to make it consistent with the other two. The middle stage is Tubuwave (i mighttt look into giving it a new name since im not the biggest fan of this one atm) and the final stage, my pride and joy, Gnarlion i REALLY like this fakemon line. a lot. i think its my marine mammal bias but im just a super huge fan of how they turned out. im working on this project pretty slowly, but i think id like to share more of my solcal mons here in the future..
