i can only presume in this specific universe the taxman is a pirate ship and his crew's been given a lovely break at an undisclosed orbital space station so that they can get some more supplies and upgrades. and something something "space station = truce at the watering hole" type deal here; i imagine the BFGC would have him cooked if he ever dare tried to do anything bad to something that may or may not be frequented by bugferrets. either way the semibots seem to be chill around humans and a handful of space monsters.

meanwhile, talita and idrisah are confused, gillie's laughing her ass of at the silly robots, sirawiit is lowkey scared of the semibots, and bip thinks that taxman has some cool remote controlled units. i dont know why the Runaway is here; maybe it's also just a supply break, maybe the runaway is in need of repair, maybe it's actually stationed at one of the cannon locations like Nexus Jovia or Naya Pradesh. or Dirtball, too; that'd be pretty funny.
