I'm going to use the same disclaimer as Neur. Disclaimer: This is just my personal interpretation as a fan. None of this is canon unless Laly has explicitly confirmed it. Read for fun, not as facts
Headcanon: Amelia likes to light incense every now and then, either to cleanse bad energy or simply because she enjoys the scent. She also loves cooking and uses it as a form of therapy to cope with all the stress she carries from her life, her job, her coworkers, and LANE. Since it's clear that Amelia cares deeply about her brother, my headcanon is that she also worries about him a lot, which only adds to her stress.I also feel like Amelia doesn't have many close friends, not because she isn't friendly, but because she's very selective about who she lets into her life. She has plenty of acquaintances, but only a handful of true friends. That's why the distance that grew between us hurt her so much. Besides the fact that she liked us, I think she felt genuinely betrayed. One thing I don't think Amelia enjoys is cleaning. So if you're dating her... congratulations, that's probably going to become your chore. 😭Contrary to what you might expect, I don't think Amelia is particularly good at managing her money. She's prone to impulsive purchases or giving money to charity, only to realize later that she's short on cash before the end of the month. I imagine it's because she still feels young enough not to stress too much about finances and believes it's better to enjoy life. However, I think she's completely different when it comes to her partner. I can absolutely see her scolding you whenever you make impulsive purchases or struggle to manage your money. If you asked her to, she'd probably even help you budget by buying everything the household actually needs. Of course, only with your consent. Just like Lane, Amelia wants your well-being and health above everything else. (This part only applies if you're in a relationship with her.)
I made this sketch of Lane that I'll eventually turn into a finished piece. (I know I say this all the time, but I have really bad ADHD, so I have like 50 unfinished sketches just waiting to be completed. 😂)
I had a question for you. Sorry if you've answered it before!
Let's say we've been dating Lane for a few years, and out of nowhere we ask him for some space and some time alone. How do you think he'd react? Would he take it badly, get angry, or cry because he'd be hurt? Or would he feel a little sad but not make a big deal out of it? Would he interpret it as us breaking up?
What if we told him he could do whatever he wanted during that time apart, with no restrictions? And what if we moved back in with our parents for a month while still staying in touch the whole time?
The reason would simply be that we both need some space, and we'd want him to use that time to think about whether he still wants to be with us too.
I've been wondering because of my fanfic. I think my OC would eventually reach a point where she'd become frustrated and emotionally exhausted. She's human, after all, and I think she'd start weighing the pros and cons of being in a relationship with Lane. I also feel like Lane would probably go through the same thing at times, since they're two very different people and they both have flaws.
(And yes... this is entirely because I love relationship drama. 😂 Breaking up, getting back together, breaking up again... I find it really interesting to explore why two people ultimately decide they still want to be together.) I LOVE YOUUU
