I’ve seen people saying

1 Scott should should spend one 1️⃣ season without in a team just to see what would happen. Being completely neutral? Villain arc?Being a major target? And I agree that would be fun!!!(im also manifesting a divorce quartet team so Cleo can get their first “official” win so people will stop excluding them, or a renscott team up)

2 He should be an early red and I agree that would be fun, but EXTREMELY unlikely. I’ve been binging a lot of his old series’s and it’s incredibly evident how good he is at surviving (I’ve often joked about how Martyn's watcher lore says that they hate him because his will to live is too strong when he ends up sacrificing himself half the time). He’s so good at it that it causes major pacing issues in series’s like afterlife(where in 23 eps he spends 6 as a moth 7 as a vampire and then the next 10 episodes rapidly trying to get rid of his 8 remaining lives) and its even more obvious in X life (where out of 48 episodes he looses his first life in the 2nd episode and doesn’t loose the next one until episode 30!!! The rest of his lives are lost in the last 6 episodes, including the last episode, where he starts on six lives and makes it a game to kill himself in ways he hasn’t died before.) and then again in New life (out of 14 episodes 6 as a transporter 4 as a fungal mage 2 as a haunted doll 1 as an lightmancer and the final episode as a butterfly)

The only way I think he’s getting out early if the people good at pvp/ traps get out early and target him(I’ve seen a clip of Gem saying she’ll team up with joel to target him) but the only way that will work is if they remember he exists! I don’t know if people have seen the list of how many times life series members have been included in other people’s thumbnails but Scott is second to last above Lizzie, who has only been in last life, secret life, wild life and one episode of limited life. He’s below Gem who wasn’t in the first 4 seasons.

And honestly I think that helps a bit on why he survives so long. I don’t know how many people have seen Jimmys Minecraft pillars video but that’s a perfect example of what ends up happening, Scott’s winning->people say they’ll target him-> they forget he exists->they target each other-> Scott wins. It’s one of the reasons I’m such mean gills fan. Martyn is one of the few people (along side Joel even thought he ends up forgetting and kind of mumbojumbo especially in wild life) who realizes how strong an opponent Scott is. That’s why I’m never Salty about the finale betrayal in limited life because it proves that he sees him as a strong threat.
