sometimes its okay to go offline, sometimes you need to... I understand being angry at things, trust me, but a lot of you seem to be using discourse (and bad news, quite honestly) as a form of self harm. There are significantly better things for you to do with your time than posting about the things you hate (hypocritical of me to say, I know). If you ever find yourself getting worked up over things online, please take a second and ask yourself if its worth it to argue about it with someone or if you can do something more proactive elsewhere. Ask yourself if you can actually change their opinion or if this will just push them further into that community. Remember that not engaging in an argument does not mean you do not care, or that you've given up on this perceived fight.

This post is not trying to demean anyone, and my tone is meant to be read as neutral. I have simply seen far to many people cause themselves harm by involving themselves in certain online communities.

“Anti” is an insult used by rq and p/dship communities to describe anyone who doesn’t agree with them. It is used to paint anyone outside of the bubble as dangerous- the evil, bigoted “anti”- no matter their intentions, in order to further isolate people within these communities and make sure they stay.

Here’s your incredibly important reminder for the start of this lovely month: that radqueers are a fucking joke and will NEVER EVER BE CELEBRATED AS A PART OF QUEER PRIDE!!! EVER!!! 🫶

A fucked up community that tries so soo sooo hard to seriously make out that being a predator, abuser, nazi, zoophile, racist, etc… Are all intrinsically queer identities that should be celebrated and respected just as much on the same level as consenting, happy gay partnerships loving each other deeply in a world that still continues to be cruel about it, or incredibly brave trans people transitioning into the body that feels like the truest, most unapologetic version of themselves, or all the other amazing identities and journeys of self-discovery the people in our community go through, is so wrong in every way and they absolutely shouldn’t be lumped in with us. Mixing all that beauty and hope with the most sickening and depraved sides of humanity is heartbreaking to see in all honesty.

It’s maddening because those harmful stereotypes have existed for decades, especially the moronic idea that trans people in particular are apparently all evil and predatory towards children. Lots of bigots still believe in that crap to this day, and all of this shit online is like chucking a grenade onto an already blazing dumpster fire!!

You’re not cool, or radical, or queer, just because you wanna diddle some kids, or fuck animals, or somehow transition into a different race… it’s a complete mockery and has no place here or anywhere else. GET THAT IN YOUR SICK HEADS AND STOP SETTING US BACK!!! THANK YOU!!!
