i absolutely love being “boring.” early bedtime, slow mornings, praying, small circle, sister dates, health and wellness lover, cooking at home, workout classes, long sunset walks, coffee shops, being at home with my little family, weekly date nights. i have the opposite of fomo.

anyways remember when toni morrison said "sometimes you don't survive whole, you just survive in part. but the grandeur of life is that attempt. it's not about that solution. it is about being as fearless as one can, and behaving as beautifully as one can, under completely impossible circumstances."

at this time of year you might be tempted to create new rules for yourself, if you do, make sure that they are designed to serve you, not to punish yourself for imperfection.
