"Knock knock"
Natasha looked through the glass panel on her townhouse's front door, her hand gripping a handgun and hiding it behind her back. Once she realized who it was, she sighed and unlocked the door before opening it. There she stood, in nothing but a white towel with said gun held in her hand, which was aimed at the floor.
"What is it?" she asked.
Daniel sighed. Of all people. "Would you believe me if i said this was a coincidence?" He said, and jerked a thumb behind him to a car parked in front of her house. "Blew out two tires on my way to a resort. Phones dead, so i was coming to ask for some help." He shrugged, holding his hands up. "Gonna shoot me over that?"
Natasha sighed, resting her head on the side of the doorframe. "You're lucky I know a thing or two about cars." She stepped aside, "Get inside. Let me go get dressed." Natasha eyed the gun in her hand, which still had its safety on, "For future reference, do expect this to be in my hand whenever you show up without telling me ahead of time." With that, she placed the gun on an end table and headed upstairs.
"In my defense, i was lost, and didn't know it would be you." He replied after her, rolling his eyes as she went upstairs. He'd be lying if he said he *hadn't* checked her out as she walked upstairs, but he knew hed end up buried in the forest somewhere if he so much as breathed wrong in her direction.
Natasha soon returned in a simple tank top and jeans, carrying an orange tool box. She opened the front door for him, "Come on, let's get it out of the way." Natasha stated.
"I really just need to borrow a lug wrench. Im not that incompetent." He replied, following after her. He never quite knew how to stand around her, and he found he enjoyed that. He wasnt used to being kept on his toes.
"It's in here." She reassured, walking over to his car with him. "You can get out the spare tires and the jack while I get it." Natasha crouched down to open the toolbox.
Daniel opened the trunk, and moved some luggage around, grabbing his spare tire and the jack. He hefted them out, and walked back up to Natasha, waiting for her to get the tools. "I really do appreciate this by the way."
"It's no problem." She took the jack, slid it under the car and lifted it until the tires were off the ground. "Did you run over something?" Natasha asked, unscrewing the lug nuts with the lug wrench.
"Not to my knowledge. At least nothing alive." He replied, and began to try to assist her. "Im just lucky it didnt wreck my whole shit." He sighed, crouching next to her.
