I don't think people who have never been through it will ever understand how terrifying brain fog can be.

For my whole life, my mind has been my greatest asset. So when it feels like my mind is progressively malfunctioning, it is an absolutely horrifying thing.

It is scary, for someone who has always excelled at languages, to have a hard time getting everyday words out.

It is scary, for someone who has an eidetic memory, to not be able to remember the simplest things.

I think the measles deaths might be doubled in that count because it listed 16 deaths of measles and then broke it down in more specifics. But the point still stands.

I'm guessing tuberculosis is "consumption" and "Pthisis pulmonalis?"

I'm curious about what some of these things even are

I'm not sure it is doubled, since the "fevers" section is also broken down into specifics like that and the numbers don't match up. Measles completely resets your immune system and you're extremely vulnerable to disease afterwards, so I'm thinking the measles section is recording 16 people who died from their measles infection, and then 18 additional people who died from infections they acquired after recovering from measles
