The show is aptly named Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryeong because it deals with her as the main character. Prince Dowon is only the male lead because she fancies him. He doesn't even have enough screentime in the first half of the show.

And also are protective of each other. That's so empowering to witness in a period drama ngl.

And her Ken. He has a nice day whenever she smiles at him. His job is just being in love with Hae Ryeong.

Why haven't I seen Prince Dowon in that list? He's the biggest loser in love case right there. Because what do you mean the king is mighty pissed off with you but all you care about is whether the girl you're crushing on thought you were cool enough or not.

They are all so goofy. Didn't think Officer Min was capable of lying or pretending and tbh he isn't. That was Hella hilarious.
