I have been doing the bible gateway chronological order of the bible, and boy is it interesting. Going from the creation of man, to the fall, to Abraham and Isaac. Then the story of Job and now I have been reading about the story of Moses, the Law and all of the instructions that the Lord gave to the people of Israel. Wow. How mind blowing it all is to me. There where points while reading in Leviticus that I thought... really... God was SO specific on what he wanted them to do and how he wanted them to do it and when he wanted them to do it. I got to thinking, if I believe that The Lord is the same yesterday, today and FOREVER, and he was that spacific about what he wanted his people to do then, why wouldn't he be that spacific on what he wants Adam and I to do now. See, Adam and I are coming up on some really big decicions here in the near future, like life decicions. Where are we going to live, what job will Adam get, starting a family, etc. I have been kind of nervious, almost as a child that is walking in to school for the fist time. Feeling excited but really scared all at the same time. However, as I was reading these instuctions that God gave to his people I thought, why can't I ask him for specifics. He will show us, down to the very last detail like what TV or desk we should buy. He is The Lord my God who lead his people out of Egypt and he is still that same God. He loves us and wants the very best for us, even when we don't totally get who, what, when, where, and why. He knows, and he does it all for his benefit and in turn for our benefit. I'm learning to trust and fear him in all things. It takes all the fear out of everything else.

My name is Desiree Elyse Hutton. I was born and raised in Colorado and I am currently living in Michigan. My heart beat is my family, friends, my husband, and Jesus Christ. I am a believer in Jesus and what He did for me on the cross. I believe in the triune God, three in one, Father, Son AND Holy Spirit. Jesus died and made me a new creation. The old has gone and the new has come. I am NOTHING without Him. I love the life He has given to me... what a gift. In this life I love to feel alive and I feel most alive when  running, rock climbing, jumping in the Lake, being in nature, laughing, hugging and loving my family, loving, serving and submitting to my husband, drinking coffee ...good coffee, eating good food  ...for me, singing, dancing, fashion, make up, relationship, trying new things, pushing myself out of my comfort zone...hmm... yeah. I think that pretty close to covers it. I think a lot, mainly about the Lord and what He thinks about. I try to apply Gods ways to my life. Most of the time what I think about is some revelation that He gives me and how I can apply it to my life successfully and joyfully. Recently, I have had this desire to share what I have been learning on "larger" scale, so I thought I would start up a blog... again. I had one once but was not very successful.  I have grow leaps and bounds since I moved to Michigan and I would love to share some of those stories and growing pains. I have also had quite a bit of fresh revelation that I believe he would like for me to share and I feel a blog is a good place to start. I don't always have the right thoughts and by no means do I have anything figured out but I guess that is what I am doing here, writing out my thoughts, trying to figure through thoughts and sharing where I have been, where I am, and where I might be going. Welcome to my journey expressed in words.
