Card Drawn: The Moon

The Moon card is a No answer to the question, so Queen Camilla does not feel sorry for her adultery.

The Moon is the card of deception, things not appearing as they seem, illusion, and secrets.

It is not an apology card or a feeling remorseful card.

The energy from this card is that Queen Camilla kind of liked the secrecy and deception around her affair with Prince Charles (as he was then) - it gave her a thrill. She liked knowing something that other people may not know (the secrets Prince Charles told her) and she liked the power it gave her.

The Moon is the ruling planet of Cancer, and Princess Diana was a sun sign Cancer. The energy here is that Queen Camilla liked deceiving Princess Diana, she liked the power she had over Princess Diana's husband, she liked that she knew things as the mistress that Princess Diana as a wife did not know. She enjoyed all of that.

The energy here is not nice - it is of someone who likes having power over other people and who likes flaunting that power in their faces.

Underlying Energy: The Seven of Cups

Again, this is not an apology card or the card of someone who is feeling remorseful.

The Seven of Cups is a card of choices. Some of the choices are illusionary, some are real. Some are nurturing, some are dangerous. It can also be a card of fantasy, daydreams, and illusions.

The energy from this card is of making a choice. Queen Camilla chose to commit adultery with her eyes open. She probably also daydreamed about where the adultery would take her and made decisions to get to that goal. However, the main energy is of decisions. This was a deliberate decision on her part and she does not regret it.

Conclusion: Queen Camilla made a deliberate decision to commit adultery (most likely with one eye on the future benefits from that decision). She liked the secrecy and deception surrounding the adultery, and she liked the power it gave her over Princess Diana.

Card Drawn: Two of Wands

The two of wands is a card of planning, deciding what to do, taking the first steps towards something, and taking risks.

It is not an apology card.

The energy of this card does not contain an iota of feeling remorseful or sorry for past actions. It tells me that those actions were thought out, carefully planned, and deliberately taken. It was a case of "I want this so this is what I will do to have this." When King Charles was caught in adultery, the response was the same - a series of planned steps to minimise the harm to his image.

The adultery, and the response to being called out on his actions, were all carefully planned out - for the adultery, to avoid detection, and for being found out, to make the adulterers into sympathetic figures.

There is no hint of remorse or being sorry for past actions in this card.

Underlying Energy: The Moon in Reverse

The Moon is the card of deception, things not being as they appear. When it is in the reverse, the deceptions come to light and people see things as they really are.

This tells me that while King Charles has no remorse over his adultery, he does regret being found out. He is upset that his actions were exposed, not that he did them in the first place.

The Moon is the ruling planet of Cancer, the sun sign of Princess Diana. The Moon in reverse indicates what King Charles did when he was found out - he tried to place all the blame on Princess Diana, by maligning her in the press, so people would see how horrible she was and absolve him of blame in seeking another partner. It didn't work, fortunately.

Conclusion: King Charles's adultery was carefully planned out, and he has no regrets over any of it. The only thing he regrets is being called out on it.

Card Drawn: The Chariot

This is the major arcana card for Cancer, and Prince William is a sun sign Cancer, so this card represents Prince William.

The chariot in general means control, determination, self discipline, focus, willpower, and success. It is a card about overcoming challenges and achieving victory through self mastery. You use your inner strength and willpower to overcome obstacles, and you keep your focus on your end goal even though the road to it may twist and turn in unexpected ways.

This card tells me that Prince William is on the path to being King. He is well down that path and he is doing things now to make sure his transition to kingship will be smooth and successful. He has many obstacles to overcome, which he is doing using a mix of self-control and dealing with them now, not later. He has a vision for his reign and he is laying the foundations for it.

Which is nice to know, but it doesn't give me a when. I'm not getting timing energy from this card; it is more of a statement about Prince William himself.

Underlying Energy: The High Priestess.

This is another major arcana card. The High Priestess is the keeper of secrets, so this is telling me that we are not meant to know when Prince William will become king. It is meant to be a secret as it is better that way (for now).

That is all well and good, but it doesn't tell me when.

The High Priestess is the card for Pisces, which would be late February to around the 21st of March next year, but again I am not getting timing energy from this card, just a message of 'that is a secret, you are not meant to know'.

Underlying Energy Two: The Tower.

I peeked at the next card, because I am nosy like that.

The Tower card represents a sudden, cataclysmic event that destroys part of your self/social circle/life and leaves you to rebuild it.

This card tells me that Prince William will become King after a catastrophic event hits the BRF. His job will be not to stop the event, but to pick up the pieces and provide stability after it occurs. It may not be a huge event, but it will have devastating results for the BRF.

The King dying would fit this card for Prince William (as the death of his father), but I feel that this is something else - an external event that will have repercussions and consequences for the BRF, and it is after that event has happened that Prince William becomes King, with his first main job being to repair the reputation of the BRF and to provide stability for his subjects - the energy of stability, being stable, is coming through quite strongly.

Card Drawn: The Three of Wands

This is the card of plans coming to fruition, early success in a project, ships coming in. It is a card of planning for the future, growth, expansion, foresight, confidence, looking ahead.

The energy from this card is one of foresight. Sir Alderton has looked at the future of the BRF over the next few years (three years as three wands) and he has decided that he does not want to be part of it. This could be because he feels like he has done his time and he wants to retire on a high note, or it could be because he does not like what he knows of the immediate future of the BRF. He has looked ahead (foresight) and made plans to remove himself from the staff of King Charles III. It is a planned decision, a planned retirement, not a hasty decision or one made on the spur of the moment. I get the sense that this has been coming for quite some time; the early announcement is one of the final steps in a carefully planned future.

Underlying Energy: The Devil

The energy from this card is not good.

The devil is a card of oppression, addiction, obsession, dependency, and excess. It shows that you are chained to something that is controlling you, like an addiction. It can also be a card of materialism and greed. The Devil is the father of lies.

The energy of this card is bad, and dark, and not very detailed. It feels as if something bad is coming for the BRF, something that the King (or other members) have brought on themselves by their own behaviour, especially behaviour at the lower end of the spectrum - lies, addictions, being obsessed with an idea, living to excess, being dependent on something and someone (e.g. being dependent on approval from others). It feels like a dark cloud that is hovering in the monarchy's near future, and at this point in time the monarchy is heading straight for it.

This is the underlying reason for Sir Clive Alderton leaving the service of King Charles. He can see this dark cloud coming and he does not want to be part of it.

Second Underlying Energy: The Hierophant in Reverse

I snuck a look at the second card after the devil, in case it clarified the situation, and it was the Hierophant in Reverse. Here the Hierophant represents the BRF. So not further details on what The Devil card means, but whatever it is, it is going to weaken the BRF.

One of the keywords for this card is ignorance, and it could be ignorance (intentional or otherwise) about the actions of some members that is part of this dark cloud that is approaching.

Another key word is rebellion. so it could be rebelling against the rules of the BRF (and attitude of 'they don't apply to me') or just being rebellious in general that is part of this dark cloud.
