I honestly love the word building and the character designs are brilliant I think however the writing is kinda super bad. I understand writing is hard and making tons of original backstories for tons of characters are difficult but good god.
Ngl the biggest failure in the writing would be how they butchered the circus characters backstory. Absolutely NONE of yesman/hocus backstory makes sense, fist off, putting people in robots? That’s a straight fnaf rip off aswell as the excuse that “I didn’t know if was murder” coming from yesman. That’s a really terrible reason for one- yesman worked as a ringleader in a circus which used to have human performers, she would have been aware of health and safety, injuries, and the many ways people can die at a circus and how to prevent that. Two she isn’t exactly young, she was made when mary was a young woman lived long enough to see Mary die of old age, she had plenty of time to learn about death. Are you telling me in the decades of life she lived and in the menu places and people she’s met she never once learned the concept of death?
It just doesn’t makes sense to me and it genuinely really bothers me, I feel like if they went through and rewrote some aspects of many of the characters backstories then it could absolutely work story wise (I also understand at the creator was a piece of shit and did horrible things)
