needy little bastard

“I cannot wait to finally lay in bed”

That was the only thing running through your mind as you walked up to the front door of your home and unlocked it to come inside.

Work had been exhausting today and you wanting nothing more then to just get inside and just faint on your mattress, but a certain feline roommate of yours had other plans.

As soon as you opened the door Teruteru nearly knocked you to the ground with how fast he pounced onto you for a hug, you gently pet his head “yeah yeah, i missed you too” before walking inside and locking the door behind you.

Teruteru scurries off and you absentmindedly head straight towards you bedroom, you don’t even bother to close the door behind you as you kick off your shoes and collapse onto your bed.

Closing your eyes you let relaxation finally seep into your bones after a long hard day, that feeling is interrupting however when you hear teruteru bounding into your room.

You try to ignore his presence and go back to getting your well deserved rest but teruteru gently prodding at your shoulder tells you he’s not going to let that happen.

You open your eyes to see teruteru holding his wand toy and looking at you expectantly, you groan and roll over away from him “not now kitty…”

A small trill of disappointment can be heard before teruteru hops onto the bed and start kneading into your side in hopes you’ll pay attention to him, he knows your stressed but he’s sure that if you play with him for a bit you’ll feel better!

Although some may find this behavior endearing, when your exhausted from hours of work it’s much harder to find the cuteness in it all.

You finally sit up and teruteru is more then excited when he feels your arms wrap around him to pick him up and carry him out of the room.

Teruteru gently nuzzles his face into your chest, keen on finally getting some well needed love.

His excitement quickly fizzles away when you place him down in front of the bedroom door and quickly locking yourself inside your room with him being on the other side.

“Sorry teruteru but i need to go to bed…” you say to yourself more then him before falling back onto your bed and continue your attempt to fall asleep.

Teruteru is most unpleased with this outcome, you were supposed to play with him and cuddle him! Don’t you know he’s been waiting all day for your attention!

Teruteru waits patiently at the door for a minute or two, figuring you were probably just changing into something more comfortable since that’s usually the reason you locked your door.

But after a while he was starting to feel cross with how long you were taking, to make sure you hadn’t forgotten about him he started scratching at the door to remind you that you two have some cuddling to catch up on.

The scratching picks up in frequency and volume as Teruteru realizes he might be locked out of your room for the rest of the night, the thought fills him with dread and he starts pathetically wailing at your door for you to unlock it and let him inside.

You groan and cover your head with the nearest pillow to drown out to sound, but teruteru is persistent in his protest to get you to open the door.

Finally after 5 minutes, it suddenly stops “thank god…” you think to yourself.

Just as you feel yourself drifting to sleep, a loud shatter can be heard that makes you bolt upright in bed.

“Oh for the love of-“ you grumble to yourself before getting out of bed and storming to the door to unlock it and see just what the hell that feline friend of yours is up to.

You walk into the kitchen and see a scene that makes even your tired blood boil, teruteru is sat on the counter (something you’ve told him multiple times not to do) with glass shattered on the floor and he’s currently fiddling carelessly with another glass cup clearly not concerned about dropping it.

Teruteru greets you with a playful mew before letting the glass cup he’s holding slip out of his hands and crash onto the kitchen floor, his tail flicking in a way where you know that he knows exactly what he’s doing.

You storm back into your room to get your shoes before storming back into the kitchen, teruteru mews at you again before you pick him up by his scruff and carry him back to the room.

You toss him onto the bed before kicking the door shut and then kicking your shoes off, your far too tired to clean up the glass mess right now and your too tired to punish teruteru either.

Once again you climb into bed with teruteru curling by your side purring loudly, you gently pet his head and grumble “you may be getting off scott free now, but as soon as i wake up there will be hell to pay…”
