Heartwarming Pics Of Children Who Were Just Adopted
I love adoption stories. My mom adopted 3 kids and she never let us or anybody else make a difference out of the 6 of us. My biological brother had the same name as my adopted brother and people could not understand why my mom would name 2 sons in succession, Johnny. But we wouldnât explain it. Adopt kids. Make it normal. Not the the thing u do simply when u cant.
This will melt a heart of stone.
^^^^ THAT PERSON UP THERE
please normalize the fuck out of adoption, iâve given speeches and lectures and written papers about all the misconceptions and fears and rumors that plague the issues of adoption and make this perfectly normal, healthy, happy thing a rare occurrence in our society and that is sad and wrong
adoption is not âgiving upâ on a child, adoption is not a last resort, adoption is not just for certain types of families
please normalize adoption
Also please normalize adopting teenagers. Iâm not saying you shouldnât adopt young children and babies, but there are so many teens out there that just donât get adopted because of their age. So please normalize adopting teens!Â
I hate adding on to long posts, but as someone who spent time in foster care growing up I have to chime in. Foster parents are amazing, and so are adoptive parents. My foster parents, brothers and sisters made a huge impact on who I am. Please adopt. Adopted kids are not worth less than blood relations. Stop that line of thought.
Please adopt and foster teenagers! So many teenagers end up in group homes because there arenât foster parents willing to foster or adopt them.

How to go somewhere in life
1. Begin by asking yourself what you want your destination to be. That is, what would you like to accomplish in life? What are some goals that are meaningful to you?
2. Next, think carefully about what youâve learnt along the way, and any specialist knowledge you have.
3. Identify gaps in your experience and knowledge â as these could prevent you from getting ahead. You will need to address these if youâre going to succeed.
4. Reframe mistakes and failures as good experience. You can learn from these â and other obstacles you meet. Remember, no-oneâs journey ever follows a straight line. Itâs how you handle defeat that determines success.
5. Take control of your thinking â and donât listen to excuses. You need to set your mind, and be determined to succeed.
6. Donât listen to naysayers who would love to see you fail. You can always acquire skills â and working hard will open doors. Plug your ears, stay positive, and choose to persevere.
7. Accept that fear is normal when weâre trying something new, or if weâre doing something risky, or if weâre stepping out alone. Admit and face your feelings â and in time theyâll disappear.
8. Pace yourself for a long journey - nothing worthwhileâs ever easy. But if you maintain your focus it will take you to your goal.

can we talk about how amazing cartoon network is and how amazing they feature diversity (race, lgbtq+, and body positivity) in their new shows
Donât credit Cartoon Network, credit the creators of the shows.
No, do credit CN, theyâre the ones allowing it. Plenty of creators have tried to get stuff like this through, only to be met with âcan we make it more⌠white? and less gay?â
The Gravity Falls team tried to sneak in little old lady lesbians, no kissing, not even talking, on-screen for two seconds, but Disney didnât allow it. Itâs absolutely amazing that a network aimed at children is giving its creators elbow room to make their shows inclusive.
Do credit CN. Theyâre doing what all the other networks shouldâve been doing a long time ago.
