Do you guys know why dean and amara, ‘despite having a bond through the mark of cain’ had ZERO chemistry whatsoever? Why her charms didn’t work on dean the way he or even we thought they would because hello, it’s mark of Cain and it’s bloody powerful! It’s supposed to make dean weak in the knees, heart all gooey or something right ? Why dean was still calling out for Castiel in amara’s presence?
Amara literally went ahead and answered that herself by saying ‘I can see inside your heart, feel the love you feel, except it’s cloaked in shame’ and we all collectively thought she was talking about the love dean feels for her due to the mark but really she was saying, ‘I know you’re gay for my angel nephew you son of a bitch, get your shit together’
