Morro Wu:The adopted son of Sensei Wu. He was rescued years ago, when Wu and Lord Garmadon dismantled the cult of the Preeminent and destroyed her for good. Morro was only five years old when Wu took him in. Wu was deeply disturbed by the Preeminent and the horrors Morro had witnessed at such a young age. Since then, he has made sure to give him a stable life: always checking that he feels heard, seen, and loved. Morro loves his father, though he sometimes finds him overbearing. Wu is a silly and playful man, but also a bit cringe. Even after all these years, Morro still hasn’t recovered from the embarrassment of his father playing a solo flute version of a popular pop song at his high school prom, an event Wu attended as a chaperone.

Morro loves learning about anything, but he has a strong inclination toward magic. When he was younger, he had strong Twilight Sparkle tendencies: obsessing over knowledge, getting overly competitive, and sometimes going a little crazy with his ideas.

Wu:He is around 990 years old. Unlike his series counterpart, he grew up surrounded by other ancient, non-human beings. Mages of Mysterium and the Sages of the Cloud Kingdom can easily live for over a thousand years. Because of this, Wu has old friends everywhere, people he can share memories with, even after centuries. He still has friends who remember things no one else does, which helps keep him grounded and less lonely. When he was younger, he preferred these kinds of relationships. He avoided humans and other ephemeral species. But when he finally allowed himself to connect with them, he realized the deep pain of outliving those he cared about. Still, he learned to find pieces of them in what they left behind: their children, their legacy. He keeps those memories close to his heart.

Wu understands how different his perception of time can be, even unsettling to others. He could argue with a fellow mage for twenty years and reconcile later without consequence but he doesn’t have that luxury with shorter-lived friends. Because of that, he makes an effort to be present, to truly know them. Eventually, he built a family of his own: his son, his nephew, Koko, and his students. He knows he cannot bear to live much longer than they do.

Lloyd Garmadon: The son of Lord Garmadon and Koko. He is quiet and shy, always trying to help others even though people often reject him or react aggressively to his presence. They hate him because of who his father is and the destruction associated with him.

He has a small group of friends: Zane, Jay, Cole, Kai, and Nya. Their parents were friends with Koko and Wu, so they allowed Lloyd to grow up alongside them. He was especially close to Kai and Nya from a young age, meeting the others later. Lloyd struggles deeply with self-hatred and low self-esteem. His mother found him an online therapist from the mainland, someone who didn’t judge him based on his father.

Unlike his series counterpart, Lloyd became familiar with his non-human side early in life. In this post-merge world, different species are widely known and accepted. He learned basic shapeshifting, though his mostly human heritage makes him more comfortable staying in a human form. He keeps features like horns and sharper teeth and only shifts wings and a tail when he wants to fly. His cousin taught him how to fly and supervised him, though there were difficulties since feathered wings and dragon wings don’t work the same way. Wu eventually had to step in to help him.

Lord Garmadon: He is not entirely sane. Years of war and his long lifespan have deeply warped his perception of life.

When he finally realized how quickly time passes, it hit him all at once: his wife had begun to show gray hairs, his son had grown up, and he had missed so many important moments. The regret was overwhelming. He and Wu eventually spoke about it, opening up about their shared struggles with time and loss. Garmadon came to understand that the only thing he can do now is be present and try to change how others see him.

His appearance has changed due to his Oni heritage. Endless battles and inner conflict have reshaped his sense of self, and his form reflects that. His shapeshifting adapts to how he sees himself.

Oni Lore:

Oni do not have a fixed form. They are inherently formless, taking on shapes that best represent who they are and what they believe.

Most Oni are raised to embody destruction and evil, so they grow horns, multiple arms, fangs; anything perceived as threatening and dangerous. However, a few Oni deviate from this, especially those who leave their place of origin, like Mystake and the First Spinjitzu Master.

Mystake changed who she was, and her appearance followed that transformation. The First Spinjitzu Master, however, was not raised among Oni. Not human but he appeared mostly human, with only a few dragon traits. Because he grew without the ideology of the Oni, he was able to form an identity and a physical form that truly felt like his own
