Shanghai 2011
here are some shots from my trip to Shanghai in autumn 2011, it was the year when i got my first camera. i was 17 y.o., unstable af and recovering from some serious crap. this trip was a huge challenge cause i spend most of the past year barely leaving the house. being high on pills really helped to handle being in a city with population twice bigger then my home country, but i'm very thankful for such opportunity.
wasted years
i'm desperately waiting for my studies to be definitely over in February so i'll have free time again to go back to taking pictures. in 2011 i got my first serious camera and became truly passionate about photography. i was living in a small village in the middle of nowhere in Czech Republic and had no idea about the world of social media at all, so connecting to other photographers or having a feed back from them was impossible for me. i abandoned my camera for couple of years (thinking that my work most definitely sucks). i had some moments in the past 8 years when i felt the need of capturing the world around me and some shots actually came up from it, but i feel that the time when i can finally dig deeper in it is yet to come. it makes me sad to think of how much i could improve during the past 8 years if i was better motivated or maybe grew up in some more cultured place.
