"I am simply trying to get a pretty lady to join me to a much better party, that’s all. My name is Aedan." he took her hand and as he bowed, he kissed the back of it before releasing it.

[[ “Simply, of course.” She nodded with a chuckle, “A pleasure, Aedan. My name is Selene. And as much as I don’t look it, I would in fact be a Grey Warden.” ]]

[[ “Between the taint and lyrium, I doubt I’d taste very good at all.” She nodded, smiling half-assedly. “Uh... What are you....?” ]]

[[ “Can’t say I knew anyone outside my immediate family. Didn’t really even know my mother, she died not too long after I was born. As lazy as your family sounds, I’d be glad to have that many people around.” ]]

"Yes- it’s at the end of the courtyard. I can show you, if you care for a drink now?"

[[ “Well if you’re not going to try I might just have to myself.” ]]

                        "Fair? That I’ve never seen you before? That’s one way to put it."

[[ “I think the alcohol is starting to screw with my head a little, this conversation no longer makes any sense to me.” ]]

— But I assume when you say I’ll pay you mean for my own.”

[[ “Was hoping you’d pay for mine too, but feel free not to.” ]]

[[ Selene took a moment to count on her fingers, “Fifth, actually. And if you’ve heard about things more outlandish than my life, I’d love to hear ‘em some time.” ]]

That book? He was rather taken by that novel, thank you. “If that was an attempt at winning my attention, you certainly have it. Something on your mind, or is spiting me just a part of today’s agenda?”

[[ “Oh but spiting random people is always so much fun!” She smirked, picking up the book and holding it out to him, “Really though, I am rather sorry I knocked it out of your hand.” ]]

I’d willingly die in a heartbeat if I could, if that’s not proof enough that I’ve lived too long I don’t know what is.” ]]
